HOTEL M AND RESORT, MCLEOD GANJ

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The food was delicious, with a great variety of dishes to choose from, and every meal was a delight. A special mention goes to the General Manager, Gaurav, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. His personal touch and warm hospitality made all the difference. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return! All the Best !

Incredible place revolving around the main market. Offers nearby facilities. The quality of the food is appreciated 😋 . The hospitality of the staff is too good.

There was an issue with the AC in our room So they provided us with a brand new fan for that night & later they upgraded our room with the best view & some extra complementary benefits with high-tech instruments. Because they are unable to repair the AC . & They didn't charge us for upgradation. Despite all that the rooms are pretty convenient .

Dirtiest hotel ever No sense of security , irrespective and irresponsible staff with complete negligence by night they allow anybody who is drunk and in vulgure condition to enter the hotel . And further those men misbehave with women . Kindly don't stay if you are with family daughters and women . The staff also supports such acts by saying Hume kya malum . The owner lady should first replace such a cheap staff then she should think to renovate reputation of a hotel matters more than anything . ITS A REAL HEIGHT . AISE HOTEL MEIN RUKNE SE ACHA GADI MEIN RAAT GUZAR LO . THEY DONT PROVIDE ANY SERVICE AND FOOD PREP IS ALSO MORE THAN WORST . STAFF IS REALLY WORKSHURKER . I generally never write poor reviews unless service experience is poor. This was likely my worst experience in MacLeod Ganj in this visit. Once I arrived looked like I was the first person this afternoon, a lovely gentleman greeted me, said would I like a beer of soft drink as I looked hot, I smiled and said you read my mind, then came along another uniformed person who curtly informed me Kingfisher is not available but ultra was, I said yes, he said it will cost you Rs450/-, I was a bit taken aback it almost sounded he questioned my ability to pay. Then he said you can order anything from this menu, I said I was feeling like a Paratha, he said No, it's for breakfast only, it was not that it was not available but the manner of his NO was offensive. I said, you do say NO a lot. Being a career hotelier and leading one of the finest hotels in the world I felt this was awful. I should have walked out but being the first customer did not want to, I read reviews of the hotel most of them very positive, so maybe it's just this person. As as waited for the food, I noticed, I was served in chipped plate, the spoon and forks are dusty, the condiment pot tray dirty. The food was good, I have to admit freshly cooked but as I said the rest of the experience not up to mark. However looking at most reviews I might actually stay here next time as I loved the location. One person's bad attitude cannot be blamed to whole hotel and service standard anyway, I will likely give it another go when I come again.

The hotel is right in the centre of McLeod Ganj and ideal for the bars and restaurants. I stayed here for a week in March 2024 to both watch England play cricket and do some hiking.||I had a spacious room on a lower floor which had a terrace overlooking the valley. The occasional monkey did visit the terrace so be aware.||The room and bedding were all clean. The shower was a bucket / jug which is quite common in India. ||The air con / heater was a bit temperamental however the hotel quickly sorted out an electric stand heater. This was required as it did get cold in the evenings whilst I was there (early March).||I did not eat at the hotel at all as there are so many restaurants nearby ..,, my particular favourite was the Snow Lion Restaurant.

Broken and unhygienic washrooms. Rude and unprofessional staff. Recommended to avoid this place.
