Experienced highly unprofessional behaviour during online stay booking on booking.com. After successful booking confirmation, they cancelled our booking and continuously lied in different ways to cancel our stay. Finally we have given up and will have to find another stay.

Rating it one star because a lesser rating is not possible. Bit off location from the town centre,the rooms were very different from the pictures uploaded online, the rooms were not maintained the sheets were dirty. For the price no services were provided, the room was decent at best, you could do much better. We were two hours late to check out and were grossly overcharged for the same. The hotel is so far from the the city centre that you'll easily spend 400 rupees going to and fro, so it's advisable to find a location near to the city center.

I booked the hotel from booking.com and they cancelled the booking staying that I called them and booking.com asked them to cancel the booking whereas I never called them and booking.com also disagrees that they asked to cancel the booking. My guess is they realised they can get better deal because of Dharamshala Film Festival hosted during the dates and they decided to cancel the booking. I might be wrong, and they indeeded might have got a call from someone with my name, but they should have verified on the chats on Booking.com. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING THIS PLACE IF YOU DO NOY WANT TO FACE THE SAME SITUATION.

It was a very wonderful experience staying at the Mirage Grand Hotel. The location is extremely beautiful and peaceful right near the Dal lake and also has a waterfall passing by very close . The voice from the waterfall the whole day made it a very serene and soulful experience for us. The food and room service was very nice and at very affordable rates . Very delicious and tasty food was instantly available. The staff was very nice and helpful and guided us in the best way possible. I would definitely like to recommend this place to others .😊
