Nandini Residency, Dharamshala

Do not trust the amenities listed by this hotel. They are dishonest. I booked specifically for the fitness center. They don’t have a fitness center and it appears they never had one. Also, there are no spa services. When I challenged them, they said the fitness center did exist at one time but I think they are lying. I can’t find a restaurant here either. It appears that you order from a local restaurant nearby. The hotel is about 10 km from Dharamshala. Finding transportation to move around is difficult.

Believe me don’t trust the reviews I personally stayed there .. it’s worse hotel I ever visited in my life ..very unhygienic room, food and toilet. No any synergic view from room and also room was very small. Food was very expensive and on top of that staff was very rude and argumentative

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: I’m giving this one star because I can’t give lesser. The property only looks good in photos, but ruined by horrible service and maintenance. In the attached photos you can see the build of mould. A health hazard and a sign of utter neglect. My partner and I both had breathing issues and a runny nose almost immediately. When pointed out to the staff, instead of addressing it or offering another room, they were indifferent to our concern. Normalising it, whereas no other nearby property had this issue. It is an absolute shame that such a property is going down the drain. We made the mistake of not reading the reviews before booking. We left as soon we came, however, they still did not refund our booking amount.

The hotel's location was perfect, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and a serene atmosphere. The on-site facilities, such as the restaurant and spa, were top-notch and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. I highly recommend Nandini Residency to anyone visiting Dharamshala. It truly deserves its 5-star rating. I can't wait to return and experience their exceptional hospitality again!

The location is pretty good, but the owner and staff is not good at all. Services are very slow, water system doesn't work properly, the food is very average. Hotels nearby are pretty good, price is even less than this property. You can get pretty good deals nearby this hotel.

The hotel was excellent for our stay. The staff members were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist us with information on nearby places to visit in Dharamshala. The food was delicious, and their willingness to help with everything made our experience even better. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone looking to enjoy their holiday in the area.

Overall the experience in this hotel was good. We had a family stay. It is one of the finest hotels in this area. The staff is helpful and friendly. Safe car parkings are also available. The improvements that I would suggest are as follows: 1. Dormitory room should also be maintained for eg. Curtaines are not present which might compromise privacy or safety. 2. Some services like complimentary drinking water should be present. Anyhow, Hotel Nandini Residency can be a perfect choice of stay when planning in the tourist season
