if you are looking to party hard with loud music, then this place is not recommended. Its place to cozy up with a book..Chat with friends and family and enjoy peace. If you want to leave behind the hustle bustle of the city life and find a peaceful zone, then Clouds End Villa is the place to go to. It is the last home/property in dharamshala. Rooms have that Victorian era and Royal charm considering that it is owned by the Royal family of Kangra. The staff is very helpful. Awesome place, awesome staff, awesome and reasonably charged food....I enjoyed my stay, It's beautiful place 🥰

The Clouds End Villa room I had was a suite overlooking a lush area of the property. It was well maintained and quite beautiful. The staff was exceptionally warm and responsive. I have serious food sensitivities. Not only did the staff take great care to understand and accommodate my needs (and the food was amazing), but Chandresh Kumari Katoch, the owner, personally met with me and called me to ensure I was doing well. I have never experienced this level of personal care and customer service from a hotelier. I have only great things to say about Clouds End. Thank you to Chandresh and her incredible team!

Spent a couple of nights here on a tour of Northern India with Mercury holidays, I know fellow travellers were not impressed with this hotel. However our room was decent, clean and pretty inviting. Quirky....yes, pristine.......no, but it was comfortable. I doubt if there is anything better in the area that is more suitable. The plus side was that the gin in the G &T's were very generous. Food was eaten at a communal table, quality was good if a little bland and unimaginative. Service was okay at best, got the impression that the waiters were not happy with their lot. Would I want to go again............no, had the experience thank you.

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour and as it is still winter unsurprisingly it was cold. The views down to the valley are beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable with heaters and warm duvets and blankets. It’s not a place to stay if you have mobility problems as there are steep steps and uneven paths around the property. The food was very good with some British Raj staples of Cauliflower Cheese, rice pudding and porridge for breakfast. Complimented with delicious curries and dals made with fresh local ingredients. |There are monkeys around the place too.

One of the best places with a decent view. Well located, away from hustle bustle. It is 20-30 min walk from McLeodganj market and Dharamsala market.||||I enjoyed the stay and service at this property. Rooms are clean and bathroom very well maintained (better than many 4 & 5 star properties). Room was cleaned daily and well managed. Housekeeping staff is diligent and good. It was quite cold in December and we were provided with adequate blowers and blankets to enjoy the rains and snowfall.||||Property manager - Raju bhai is extremely friendly and was a big support in planning our daily schedule. He infact helped negotiating with cabs etc. to get the best prices and service. He is an amazing cook and always served piping hot food. Do try 'gatte ki sabji' that he makes, it is yummy.||||Must stay place when visiting Dharamsala or Mcleodganj.

This establishment is described as 'unpretentious but scenically located'. I would describe it as basic. The staff were very attentive when we ate our meals there which were satisfactory. However the rooms could have been cleaner and the gardens were neglected. If chairs had been put out, we could have enjoyed the view. This is the only place where we were bitten even though we were quite high above sea level. Some of our party had spiders in the room on 3 occasions and one couple ran out of hot water when showering

Very nice place to stay in Dharamshala away from the road and crowds. Yes the dogs are noisy. We have room 6 in the main building exceptionally large with sitting area lovely feel with antique furnishings. Can be noisy as it’s right above the dining room. The food is good and the gin and tonics large. Service good too.
