Hotel White House

Rooms are big and newly constructed, it is close to market by walk but nothing is good apart from this. Hotel is run by 2 old aged couple and online bookings are remotely managed by their daughter. There is zero service provided to customers, I mean not even tea or coffee forget about food. When we enquired about food options, they cleared told us that we don’t cook and you can visit market and eat. I have never experienced this behaviour while staying in a Homestay or Hotel in my entire life. Geyser doesn’t work properly, we somehow managed in September month. Bathroom fittings are incomplete. Highly overpriced, not recommended to anyone. We were feeling uncomfortable to even ask for basic amenities because of this cold response. I booked through booking.com so definitely not a good experience with them also.

We stayed here in the month of September.There was No shower in bathroom ,rooms were big but there was no provision for breakfast and dinner in hotel. Heater takes lot of time for hot water. There is no house keeping service available in hotel it is managed by an aunty and uncle somehow. Please book this property only if you are looking for room without meals. -

Overall, I enjoyed my stay here but a few things let me down. The room was clean but a bit on the cold side due to poor insulation and no heating, but the blankets were warm enough. There was intermittent issues with wifi and power cuts but I had a power bank and a data sim so made do during outages. My low rating is due to the fact that I was kicked out at short notice due to them having booked another guest into my room. I overheard the owner offering an upstairs room to another customer later so felt a bit insulted this courtesy wasn’t afforded to me. It was a hassle packing up and trying to find a room for one more night before I left for manali, and the lack of notice to leave was very annoying. Please give more notice to customers if you need them to leave. Telling them to check out the morning someone else is arriving is too late. Also I recommend contacting the hotel directly for the best price. I paid 1000 rupees/night in sep, which is 25% of their google rate. No haggling or anything - that was the price they offered me.

Everything about this hotel was great. The warmth of the lovely ladies running this property made us feel very comfortable as it was a 2 nights stay. The view from our rooms were little clumsy. The most favorable factor about this hotel is its location, just a 2 minutes walk to the main market

We stayed here during our spiti valley tour in early June 2024... This hotel has the worth of modern facilities and warmth of homestay! The hospitality and all the foods were excellent and very very satisfactory...Owners were very helpful. Most importantly, the rooms, decor and location was just perfect. We loved the place and people/family running the property. Thank you!

A superb family run hotel. Spotlessly clean, huge rooms, ensuite bathrooms with steaming hot water, fast wifi and an site restaurant. A 3 minute walk to the heart of Kaza with its restaurants shops snd cafes. Onsite parking, whisper quiet location. Ohhh and the views from your room!! . Just stunning. I have stayed at other properties in Kaza, including the so called " Best one" and The White House far exceeds them in every aspect. We stayed for 3 nights and wish it could be 3 weeks Just book it. You won't be disappointed

Our stay at white house kaza was one of the most memorable one. Their entire team was very friendly and welcoming. Also icing on the cake was delicious cooked meals. The rooms and washrooms were very neat and clean. Whenever we visit kaza again, we will definitely stay at white house kaza only.
