Hotel Imperial Palace

The rooms are decent. Food is very good. Service is friendly. Room rate changes as per season. One thing they should look into, is the room heater they provide. It costs extra which is just costly (300 per day for a sub average heater) and the important thing it doesn't heat that well. Other than that other thing are satisfactory.

I stayed in this hotel from 11 April till 14 April. The pros and cons of hotel are as follows|Pros|1- Well behaved staffs|2- Good location and nice view from room| I will suggest to take room no.304 for the best view|3- Quality of food is good.||Cons|1- You have to climb quite a few stairs to reach reception and then if your room is on third floor then you will have a good workout in hotel itself|2- Frequent power cuts but they are of very low duration. |3- Also the rooms does not have AC may be due to manali weather but we found room getting hot during afternoon and fan was not of much help|4- currently renovation going on so if you are allergic to paint like me you will feel little discomfort due to paint smell||Conclusion|I liked the hotel as a whole. It is not a great hotel but a good hotel keeping in mind it's low cost room rent

I was told by Yatra Travels that the Imperial Palace is a 3* hotel, but the sad part was that the room provided to us, had hot water running only at some fixed time.||Also, the bathrooms were pathetic attaching the photographs for reference.||||The room had a great view of the river.||Staffs are friendly but I carried my luggage up and down 15 steps while doing check-in and check-out, ||we need to get their attention. if not requested room service fellows would just watch us and would not help us, proactively. ||The food was average, not bad. Management was trying to do the best with the facilities they have got, but I believe its high time for the hotel to get a facelift as the location of the hotel is awesome and if a better service is provided, no clue this would be one among the best hotels in Manali.

Our stay was on 6-7 June & our stay was memorable due to the MD - Mr. Vijay Kapoor, who assisted us at every step, specially my mother, a Sr. Citizen. I am really grateful to him-a thorough gentleman. Hotel ambience, location good, from 3rd floor balcony marvellous view of snow capped mountains *exotic himalaya*. Dinner 1st night just ok, second day quite good, their plus point is- if we leave early morning, they pack bread toast of butter & jam, otherwise buffet breakfast good. Only problem, no lift, but cooperative staff.

Its very Good Hotel Imperial Palace on a very good location. It is having very nice and comfortable spacious rooms, nice tasty food including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The staff is very courteous and soft spoken and also attend the calls immediately. We enjoyed our stay without any problem at Hotel Imperial Palace.

Earlier I stayed at Imperial Hotel during Jan-2008 as part of group tour booking of Shimla & Mnanali by travel agent. Experience was owesome.||In May-2019, I planned Manali tour with my family and was having some doubt as i planning almost after 11 years. But i booked it and experience was amazing. We got our room upgraded. Hotel Staff provided very prompt services and felt like my earlier experience. Food very tasty but little bit spicy. We have to go Gulaba and Madhi (near Rohtang) early morning at 6 am. , so on our request we recieved bread butter, jam, tea, coffee and milk served in our room. Overall very good experience in budgeted price and highly recommended for short trips (1-2 days) like us.

In May 2016, a group of passengers including my family stayed in this hotel for 2 days. Hotel is neat and clean. It has a good restaurant also. ||||Biggest issue with this hotel is the location. You will have to climb lot of stairs to reach the hotel. Very difficult, if the traveler is either old aged or having lot of heavy luggage. Parking is very limited.||||I am attaching some photos of the hotel. Two of the round were having faulty water heaters and the hotel staff were unable to solve it. Inmates were compelled to bring hot water from nearby rooms.||||Linens were clean but bathroom was just average. They provides soap, shampoo, moisturiser as complimentary.
