OYO Hotel Shankar Palace

If there was negative rating for the hotel i would select that , worst room , worst service , bathroom door wasn't having any lock that was disgusting for my family also wifi doesn't work/connect at the ground floor corner room and the staff members have attitude and doesn't listen anything if we say instead they keep on arguing until we move towards the room , blanket seemed to be used one and room wasn't clean at all , bathroom too was dirty . Choosing this hotel to stay was my biggest mistake

Place is nice close to prime location.Value for money 5 on 5 . Raju at reception was very kind and helpful. Good stay ,nice and clean. Thank you.

Best hotel to visit, you should definitely try it atleast once. Delicious food, best service, perfect price, best location, very good and clean rooms. I loved the hotel and I'll come to this hotel again and again.

The rooms were fine but in room no. 118, AC was not working properly. I had immense pain in my feet and asked for massage, the receptionist was very rude and she said "itna bhi dard nhi hoga ki aap chal na ske" due to which i scolded her and asked her to mind her language. If i was able to come down for massage even when the lift was not working in the hotel then i would i have gone in the market for the same. I was not able to stand from the bed. Then after all this she sent a massager and hotel staff who helped me stand. Then the food was pathetic. Maggie tastes like indian vermicelli and cutlet and paneer in club sandwich was pathetic. Room service was very slow, we got this sandwich and maggie in 45min. We ordered alu parantha which came in 1/2 an hr. We were forced to order food from outside. The only thing i liked was pulao and curd which i instructed how to make it.

I go direct without any tourism app. Reasonable price, comfortable stay with couple or family, big room with attached washroom with giger. Hotel in main location. Everything is available near hotel. Breakfast, lunch, Delicious food in Shankar's resturant. Nice staff, quick service. Thanx Shanker place and staff....meet u again...JAI MATA DEE

One of the worst hotel I have ever been.Though the rooms are spacious and good looking but after few minutes you'll realize that the A/C was bought even before you were born.A/C doesn't work at all and when you'll call the reception they'll give excuses about electrical problems.Now the food absolutely disgusting breakfast no taste at all. So I wouldn't recommend it at all. FOR THOSE WHO COME IN WINTERS THEY WILL PROBABLY FIND IT OK BUT FOOD QUALITY IS VERY POOR BUT THERE IS A PRETTY GOOD RESTAURANT JUST 1 MIN AWAY.

Had a lovely experience at Shanker palace. Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and their service was immaculate. This is my go to place whenever I'm in Katra. The food was extremely delicious. The room service people kept coming to deliver fresh water from time to time. Tbh hotel Shanker palace is the best hotel in Katra vaishno devi.

we stayed in 109 cost 1500 a day bathroom not cleaned and in pathetic condition . They lied about the electricity and we were unable use the AC and we asked them for water thrice but they did not gave us drinking water .
