Hotel Maa Trinayani Palace

I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 days with my wife, a friend, and his wife during our trip to Mata Vaishno Devi in Katra. Though this hotel is listed online as a 3-star property, my experience was far from it — I would honestly rate it 1 star, and that’s being generous. The sanitation and cleanliness were absolutely unacceptable. The rooms were dusty, the bathroom was poorly maintained, and worst of all, both I and my friend developed skin rashes due to bed bugs! This was a huge red flag and made our stay very uncomfortable. The AC in the room was not working at all — it looked like an old, outdated unit that had never been serviced. Despite informing the staff, no effective action was taken. While I do appreciate the polite behaviour of the staff, it simply couldn't make up for the poor condition of the hotel. The ambience, hygiene, and overall vibe of the hotel were completely off-putting — worse than a basic station-side lodge. I would strongly not recommend this hotel to anyone. A bad hotel can ruin an otherwise spiritual and peaceful trip — and unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to us. Please look for better options before booking.

I stayed here between 4thMay-6thMay 2025. It was comfortable stay. Room service was good. Clean and neat room with Hot water provided. They have inhouse restaurant where you get Vegetarian food which was good. Very near to Railway Station. You can see the path of Mata Vaishno directly from your room. The good part is they will provide Transport Facility To and From from Hotel.

Worst hotel I have ever been till now. There where lizards roaming everywhere in the hotel and even other insects. There was a lizard 🦎 in my room and even after calling the staff so many times he was unable to remove it and said repeatedly one and the same thing ' kha thodi jayegi' . There was a lot of garbage under the bed , even after seeing it he didn't clean it. Not only this much , when I ordered Manchurian, they served it after more than an hour and it had a hair in it . Never book this hotel, its veryyy unhygienic . It will completely spoil your trip

One of the best hotel ever !!! Great hospitality and the love , care and affection they show gives a personal touch to your visit Surjit ji who is manager he is such a great person we loved our stay there because of him❤️❤️❤️❤️

I really liked the service. Food was yummy, they catered to all our needs. Adjustments were done since we could not take stairs. Building needs lot of modern features. Does not have lift. It's ab old building. Rooms need upgrading.

The property is Good , The Both manager was good behaviour & politie nature, As we stayed for Two night here, Fully Cooperative The staff were really helpful and tried to accommodate our requests as much as possible.Overall the service was fine. Pick and drop service is available I am happy with the place and would surely prefer this hotel for my future visits.

The property is well located away from the main market, which provides a peaceful stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathrooms are spacious and maintain standard hygiene but not a luxurious experience. The hotel staff behaviour has been extremely courteous except for one driver who was extremely rude. The restaurant food was decent, barring a few exceptions. The staff were really helpful and tried to accommodate our requests as much as possible. They offer complimentary pickup and drop from the Temple entry gate and you can also avail the same services for markets and other nearby places at a nominal rate. They offer laundry services too. We had some issues with geyser in our room and they addressed it instantly. Overall, I am happy with the place and would surely prefer this hotel for my future visits.

Very bad property and very rude staff at reception. Booked 04 family rooms and not even a single aç was working .
