My wife and myself stayed at the Taj Dal View for the last night before we flew back to Singapore and we had an AMAZING stay. We reached around 12.30pm (2pm was the check in timing), there was checking of our vehicle and luggage at the gate itself after which even the security personnel welcomed us and let us through. When we were walking into the Hotel, there were a number of staff lined up, all welcomed us warmly and one of them even threw flowers at us. This was the first time we experienced this anywhere at all! We had our welcome drinks and we even had our rooms upgraded to the Premium Room. We were brought to our Room and we were grinning from ear to ear at the 'Premium-ness' of our room. It was a large room with a balcony which was overseeing the Dal Lake. Every part of the room screamed Luxury. Even the bathroom which was very large had a seated spot where you can do your make up, a separate area for Rainshower, toilet, bathtub and sink all nicely spaced out. And there was even a large sized rug in the bathroom which just made it look even more royal. The room itself had an extremely comfortable bed and pillows, a 65" TV and all the amenities you can ask for. We were cold and so we did not use the balcony as much and the Dal Lake was covered in mist most of the time but we opened the curtains from time to time just to take a look at the view. We had a wonderful lunch at the main restaurant at the main building. The restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating and the views are to kill for. the next day since we had to leave the hotel at 630am and we have breakfast included, the staff made a takeaway breakfast hamper filled with sandwiches, breads fruits and juices. We truly loved each moment we were in the hotel and loved the warm hospitality from each and every staff. The only Cons i can think of was the price for the hotel and the restaurant which was steep. But on looking back, it was a truly 5 star hotel, experience with Views to match. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is great, amazing view of Dal Lake from most rooms (try taking a room on the first floor than the ground for better view) Food is decent, nothing too great. Service is less than expected, needed multiple calls to the front desk for minor things. Though this could be because there were weddings/events happening at the hotel. Would recommend you check if they have any wedding and or events going on the the hotel during your stay before booking, since most of the staff gets deputed to them guest service becomes less than ideal.

This is the most beautiful property in Srinagar currently with views of the amazing Dal Lake. The views are like no other! The service is fantastic. But I think this is slightly overpriced, in my opinion.

Despite this, the impeccable service and attention to detail offered by the staff more than make up for it. Mr. Owais at the restaurant goes above and beyond to ensure that dining experiences are flawless, offering personalized recommendations and ensuring that every guest feels cared for. Additionally, Ms. Payal is particularly remarkable for her friendliness and rapport with families, especially those traveling with toddlers. Her thoughtful gestures make a big difference in creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for parents and young children alike. The hotel's spacious public areas, stunning views, and the exceptional hospitality provided by staff like Mr. Owais and Ms. Payal still make Vivanta Dal View a great place to stay, even though some of the rooms could use a refresh. Whether you're enjoying a family vacation or a peaceful getaway, the overall experience is memorable, and with a little renovation, this property could easily become one of the top choices in Srinagar.

Incredible views, and of course the service at any Taj hotel is impeccable. The grounds are beautiful. The only criticism is that the place is overpriced. To compare, the Taj at Bangalore airport is even better quality, without being more expensive -- in fact it's a little bit less.

Infinity at Vivanta by Taj offers amazing views, delicious food, and top-notch hospitality. A special mention to Mr.Ishfaq for his exceptional service and attention to detail, which made the experience even more memorable. No prizes for guessing, it was wonderful! I wasn't staying at the property, but I was stopping by for an hour to charge my EV (Tata Punch EV) as I needed to drive from Srinagar to Jammu on the said day. The time it took for the Punch EV to charge (roughly 1 hour), I just relaxed at the wonderful reception area, used the washroom and sat for a bit, and the car was recharged! The staff was extremely friendly, and were co-operative. Wonderful experience! 👌❤️
