Hotel Lush Green

First, let me tell you the location of the hotel is very bad, it is a great hassle for cars to get into the very narrow alleyway where the hotel is located. Rooms are quite good (see pic), well furnished & spacious, but cleanliness is a problem in most hotels of Kashmir, and this one is no exception (but I'd say cleaner than most others). But the service from staff was very good (at least in my case, maybe because I was travelling with my elderly grandmother), especially the kitchen staff, who took good care of us and cooked separate food for my grandmother, because she does not eat onion/garlic. Now to come to some concerns raised by others as I also faced the same issue. This trip was booked through 7th Street travel of Srinagar and owner of said lodge Saleem is a very unreliable and uncouth individual. Initially they gave the name of this hotel but checked us into another one of their properties called Inabat Residency, which is horrible to say the least! I feel a lot of fraud is going on by the hotel owners and travel agents who are cheating the travellers from all over India and creating a bad reputation for Kashmir.

Frauds of Srinagar Hotels Fraud episode 1: Let me tell you why I am giving extremely bad rating of this hotel. The story started when we booked the hotel named Silver In. My driver (Jammu Guy named Sunny) showed us the picture of Silver In hotel. It was nice looking hotel and very good one but when we reached in silver in The guy called Ahmed directed us to Lush green hotel. He said we don't have rooms in silver in so come to lush green. Since it was night and i was travelling with my complete family there was no choice and we agreed on 3 days stay in this hotel. After 2 days Ahmed came to reception area and asked us to checkout very next day. When i denied to checkout he said " I will throw you out of this hotel with you family right away" He forced to leave the hotel next day as he has got another booking for long period from someone else. Fraud Episode 2: Next day we have got hotel picture of Mazda, Again the hotel was really good. We agreed to checkout Lush green and check in Mazda hotel. We checked out and reached Mazda hotel. Mazda hotel agreed to check in but when we reached Mazda hotel they said no rooms in Mazda vacant but they will give another hotel. Wow..Its was fraud again. Fraud Episode 3: We have been directed to another hotel a small and not good one...Since it was last night we agreed to stay in this hotel. He said 2 rooms 5K with breakfast and dinner. Next day at checkout he said no we asked for 6K not 5K. He was totally lying face to face. CONCLUSION: Do not believe on agents and Local Jammu drivers. Book hotels directly from MMT or any other reputed website. Be aware of guy named AHMED in Lush green hotel. He is fraud and Extremely aggressive. Not all but many hotel owners and working together to help each other and loot Visitors. If you are with family Beaware of agents and Drivers. Do not listen to them at all. Use your brain and book via reliable sources even if it is a bit expensive.

Yarana tour & travels combined with hotel lush green Worst service ever.... No one is answering anything.... We reach around 2am. Our hotel was different but someone told driver something that hotel is full that's why they will change the hotel....without asking us.....

Ptw travel of Shimla along with 7th Street travel of Srinagar are all total fraud. If u want to spoil ur entire trip, they will ensure the same. In my case of trip to Srinagar, despite pre booking of 3 star hotel in advance, I was accommodated in some third class 'Lush green' named lodge. Worst Quality of food was served during dinner and breakfast. Room and bathroom were stinking with dead cockroaches. Though the trip was booked through PTW travel but it was completely handed over to 7th Street travel of Srinagar and owner of said lodge Saleem was demanding to pay the full money on the first day of trip itself. Ptw did not bother at all to ensure the comfortable stay in booked hotel and was least interested to resolve the issue. Don't get mis guided by Vishakha & Rinkel from PTW and Saleem the owner of Lush green.. Extremely pathetic service and should be debarred and licence cancelled by tourism department of all states.

We booked our package with 7th street travels and got this hotel in our package and this is the best hotel in the valley.The services provided by the staff were amazing and every staff member was so welcoming and polite.The view from the hotel was fantastic.The room amenities were like of 4 star Hotel
