Alps Houseboat

In the first week of September of this year 2024 we visited Srinagar and chose to stay at Alps Houseboat. The boat is situated at a vey convenient location at Srinagar Dal lake. Boat is tastefully decorated with Kashmiri furniture and artifact. It had a very warm feeling. Our hosts were very courteous and made us feel at home by taking care of al our needs. Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. If you ever make plans to go to Srinagar, I strongly recommend a stay at lovely Alps Houseboat on Dal Lake.

It was a fantastic experience of our stay. The ambience, the vibes, the hospitality, the homely feeling n the food were top notch. The personal touch of Mr. Mehraj was very reassuring. Meeting Mr. Rehman, a true gentleman was a great very inspiring experience. Highly recommended.

Our stay has been really amazing. The hospitality was top notch and the staff is really amicable. From shikara to cab rides, everything was managed smoothly by Mr Mehraj and his team. Highly recommend the houseboat stay. The food and the environment has been really homely.

I stayed in this houseboat the experience was very great with great service with Mr Maharaj the food was very great and the care the caretaker was very polite houseboat were very neat and clean I recommend everyone if you are travelling to Kashmir make your all they stay here thank you

Excellent service and hospitality by Mr Mehraj. The housboat is very vintage, and beautiful. Definitely recommend everyone to atleast spend a night in alps during their visit to kashmir. The location is even more surreal and perfect in the evenings.

The houseboat was wonderful. Owner and staff are absolutely nice and helpful, they provide everything you need. Foods are the best, very acceptable to my Indonesian taste, they have a great cook! Thank you for such memorable stay. It was an unique and beautiful experience.

We have a good service during spending our nights in Houseboat. The houseboat owner is very friendly in providing service and more welcome to the guest However, electricity problems are a major problem in Kashmir
