Floating Luxury Group of Houseboats

Scam listing—beware! This so-called houseboat in Dal Lake is completely fake. It’s listed on major travel websites, but we found out it doesn’t even exist. Despite the listing promising a full refund if canceled before check-in, they insisted on advance payment and then flat-out refused to return the money. Apparently we heard that similar scams have been done by them with many people. It’s shocking that such fraudulent listings are allowed on trusted platforms. Do not fall for this scam—verify everything thoroughly before booking in Srinagar. And dont fall for advance payment scam.

The executive suite in this houseboat is a complete scam. They show that the room has a jacuzzi but in reality the room doesn't even have a bathtub. When you complain about the same, they'll say either take it or leave. Worst experience of the trip. Very rude owner.

The stay, food and service provided is very authentic. Nazim the caretaker was very kind and hospitable. Lovely culture, cozy furnishing inside the boat house. Although, the heating can be a little better.

firstly this hotel group is not having their own house boat, it is with third party partnership with another house boat, and concern house boat guys are not responding properly we have booked where extended check out and early check in were available, but in reality there were no such facilities offered, hotel care taker is continuously pressuring us for leaving the premises by 10 AM also when we are calling hotel representative she was disconnecting the phone in between and not giving any resolution to our problem, very pathetic service kindly do not book this hotel!!

I am so glad that I booked this place.Initially I was afraid of booking this houseboat bcs most of the houseboats reviews are negative but I took the risk and m so happy with the facility, hospitality, people here so polite and cooperative. Nazeer bhai and Mr. hannan such an amazing people. They made us feel so comfortable. So much homely vibes.. definitely it's an amazing stay at this houseboat.

Worst Experience. It's a scam. We were given non AC rooms although it was mentioned Air conditioning included while booking. They don't entertain online bookings. No water was given during included meals and TV also didn't worked. Horrible experience at this houseboat. Caretakers were rude and hospitality was worst.

It's a scam in the name of luxury & images. Actual property is totally different below average. Room was small with 2 beds even when I asked for 1 big bed. AC was installed for heater which suffocates you after sometime. No drinking water was given in room, no kettle, tv didn't worked. Caretaker was trying to facilitate but at the end he asked for tip. Owner was rude when I complained about the room.

SCAM ALERT!!! Where to begin! Its going to be long! So if you want to know in short, just FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE, as most probably they will do the same with your Booking. Even before we booked, I should have become aware that something is fishy, considering they had checked yes in all 100 facilities that you can think of. And in reality there wasn’t even wifi working. Considering the already tricky situation with the internet in kashmir, thats like a criminal offence. Moreover even though booking.com said no need to pay untill your stay, they messaged and asked for half advance and said that cleaning and setting up room takes time and effort and this way they are sure that the booking is genuine. Fine! I paid the amount. Now starting from checkin experience, the mentioned boarding time is 12 PM, I had messaged them, that I will reach around 2 PM and they acknowledged and asked us to wait at gate 9. We had wait there for an hour waiting for them to send the sikara after numerous calls. And to our surprise they took us to some very different cheap feeling House Boat in between decent ones. From there the guy who was incharge there insisted us to wait little more or take an very inflated priced sikara ride. That was another scam that cost us double the rate for half the ride. Anyway back to the topic, we were finally given the the room at 5 PM. someone was already staying in it 5 hrs into our booking…reality was they gave our rooms to someone else and then whatever they found that was getting available at that time, passed onto us. Though liveable, it was nothing like the pictures…no lake views, it wasn’t even a boat, they sent us in the very back somewhere and the guy said this is the best they had. Remeber that 100 things in the facility, what a nice joke. Even the 2 water bottle in the room was used and empty. Beed sheets weren’t replaced. And they guy never picked up the phone, when we were suffering with thirst. There is only two very basic dinner options both with overly inflated price. I was even charged for sikara back to gate after checkout. I’m tired, If I was not on a vacation, I would have written a whole book called Scam on Dul Lake. Save yourself, just book something else. Update: They put a no-show and booking cancelled on booking.com, to earn from no-show charges and so that I can’t put bad ratting on the platform. This is outrageous and borderline criminal.
