Houseboat New Lucky Star

We had a lovely stay on this houseboat; the rooms are spacious and luxurious. The place is run by a beautiful family who were so warm and welcoming to us. Farouk took such good care of us and Samee is a magician in the kitchen. The food was excellent They arranged a boat trip on the lake for us which was so serene. Overall our stay was peaceful and relaxing. Sitting on the back deck watching the world go by was a highlight of our holiday. We will miss everyone.

Overall had a very pleasant stay at New Lucky Star Houseboat. The Service given by the Care taker Mr. Lateef was really very good. The Rooms were very neat and clean. All the facilities were good. The food was also very good. I would Highly recommend this houseboat to all my friends and family.

The houseboat is very cozy, very Kashmiri. The food is also very delicious. The hospitality by the boat caretaker and host is awesome. Plus, u can transfer the payment for the trip through online so that u can spend the rupees for shopping. Sellers also come to the house to sell their materials at cheap price.

I came with family which includes kids, senior citizens and adults. This house boat include three rooms with beautiful ambience and heating system. Latif bhai, is a care taker of this house boat. He is extremely helpful and supportive made our stay awesome. Most important was his helping and caring nature. His wife made a food for us which very delicious and amazing which made our stay awesomely amazing.

Location & rooms - not the premium location or ultra fancy look wise but it is cosy small Service - No complaints, great tasty homely food. Cosy room with heater ac. Helper is polite and took care of everything we needed. Things to note : electricity come n go but backup is always there atleast for basic light and charging. 4.5/5 - Recommeded for families and groups.

Beautiful houseboat, comfy rooms, delicious food, in a nice part of the lake. Run by a very nice family and Farouk is very attentive and kind. Highly recommend.

This houseboat is so SUPER CLEAN!!! And the carvings are so intricate. Also, the housekeeper is a pleasant man, cooked yummy food and eager to share his Kashmir tips for tourists. I would highly recommend this houseboat for those looking for a house boat experience. It is not only very clean, but the rooms are spacious and it has good and continuos supply of hot water. Also, I dealt with the owner Muzaffer directly & took my whole Kashmir package with him and so grateful I did. He is very decent, honest, and patient person ( i made too many changes as I was so undecied) but he was very helpful and assisted me with all I wanted to do in Kashmir. Also, his pricing is very fair and great value for money. I would definitely use his services again, if I visit Kashmir a second time. Thank you, Muzaffer!

Very good place and environment. The manager Lateef here provides home cooked food which is very tasty, hot and clean. I would strongly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in house boat if you are travelling to Srinagar.
