My stay at shamus javed was delightful. The views of Dal Lake are breathtaking, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience. It's a perfect spot for relaxation and exploring the beauty of Srinagar. Highly recommended!

Good place to stay close to Dal lake. Has safe motorcycle parking. Rooms are clean. Staff (Omar and others) are nice. Recommended

Rooms are neat and clean. Service also good. Rooms in second floor is made up of wood including floor. Because of the wooden floor heavy sound is coming while walking. The people staying just below our room getting disturbed and complaining about heavy sound. Always avoid room in second floor. All other rooms are perfect

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ 1. Shamus Javed homestay did not honour our booking.com booking. 2. When I called the property before checking in, I was rudely told that I am supposed to pay an advance to confirm my booking after making my reservation on booking.com However, my booking.com reservation did not mention anything about pre-payment. So, clearly, this homestay was lying. 3. They tried to accommodate me in a nearby property called Apple Valley after I called up booking.com to complain. Apple Valley is not a hygienic place at all. The property is far away from the main road. You need to cross a long wooden bridge to reach it. Was not happy with the location at all. Glad that I never ended up staying there. Please think twice about staying at this property.
