Incredibly neat and spacious rooms with exquisite decor. The hospitality is amazing by the hosts and the caretaker/cook, who are very helpful and professional and took utmost care of our needs. Food is very delicious. The common area is huge and well maintained. The place is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Location is very serene and peaceful. Definitely worth experiencing a stay at this place.

Great view from the property. Rooms are clean and spacious. Well maintained. Shafi ji is great host. Cook Bhojraj prepared good food. Attendant Sadik was very responsive and pleasing. He went great length to make stay comfortable. It’s in a quiet neighbourhood, and nice to spend day peacefully. It has big windows which let the sun light come inside, makes it comfortable in winter. Ac installed for summer heat. Good view of the sunset from the rooms.

Our stay here was simply peaceful and beautiful. 💚 From the beautiful and well maintained rooms (+washrooms) to the amazing view of Dal Lake and HazratBal Dargah from our windows and balcony - everything made us happy. Sadiq Bhai was very kind and extremely helpful with all the service. The food was delicious! One can try all the local dishes, that too home-made. 😄 We will certainly visit again. Thank you! 🙏🏻🤍

Luxurious property, good service and good food .Same as shown in pictures. Dal lake View was beautiful, beautifully manicured garden. One con is location however it is near by Mughal garden but it is in interior. Attendent Sadiq is such a simple and nice human .

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Orania and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. This was our first ever homestay as such we were apprehensive and not entirely sure as what to expect . However From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and hospitality that we immediately felt at home. The accommodations were comfortable , spacious, and well-maintained, with every detail thoughtfully arranged to ensure a pleasant stay. Our Hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The homemade meals were scrumptious and service was personal and memorable. The location was perfect, providing a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to [local attractions. The surroundings were beautiful and the adjacent garden impeccably maintained. One of the ground floor bedrooms opened to the garden and panoramic views of the mountains! Priceless!! What truly stood out was the genuine kindness and care that our host extended throughout our stay. It was palpable that our hosts took great pride in hosting and genuinely enjoyed making their guests feel special.The caretakers of the property and service personnel deserve a special mention for bending over backwards and then some more ,to accommodate us . I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Orania if you’re looking for a welcoming, warm , hospitable , comfortable, and enriching experience .We left with wonderful memories and a newfound friends. During our four-day stay, we encountered several shortcomings. The stay has four rooms, and we were not able to lock our rooms. The charges were steep considering the subpar service provided. With only one attendant and cook, we received SAME meals each day. Requests for evening snacks or menu adjustments were met with refusal. Furthermore, the lack of nearby restaurants or markets, coupled with the remote location far from the city center and Dal Lake, posed challenges. Securing transportation, such as auto-rickshaws, proved difficult. Overall, the experience was mediocre at best.

I want to especially commend the owner, Mr. Ata Muhammad, for his ethical and cooperative nature, which truly enhances the experience. While the property is a bit distant from downtown, the peaceful surroundings more than make up for it. I highly recommend Orania Srinagar for an authentic Kashmiri experience with outstanding hosts.
