I stayed with my mother here and had the best hospitality, accommodation and food for the 4 days in Srinagar. Rooms are equipped with ac, electric blankets and geyser. Electric kettle and tea/coffee packets were available. Rooms were spacious with beautiful views of the snow clad mountains and lots of lovely birds. Even though they had fixed timings for the breakfast, they were generous enough to provide us early breakfast as we had to start our travel early as possible on couple of days. The unexpected snowfall on the last day kinda burst the transformer nearby and had power cuts, but we were told that is common. Had a bit of trouble sleeping on that night and other than that, all were good. It's walking distance to the Dal Lake (though we never got to do this bit due to time constraint and unexpected snowfall :D ). Highly recommended and would love to come back here again :) Love from Kerala :)

An absolute no-go. The rooms are old, poorly maintained, and reek of stale mattresses, vomit, dampness, and overused towels. Upon arrival, the corridor stench was so overwhelming we almost walked out immediately. When we raised our concerns with our tour organizer, the hotel manager came to argue instead of addressing the issue. His defense? 'There are people stranded in locals' homes, at least you have a room!' He even went on to casually mention that a guest had vomited on a mattress, which someone had tried to burn—how is that our problem, and why were we still expected to pay full room charges? To make matters worse, guests were approached during breakfast and asked to pay full room charges, including extra mattress fees, well before check-out time. We were charged extra for additional mattresses but weren’t provided with heated ones, despite freezing temperatures (-4 to -6°C). There was an AC in the room, which had to be put on the highest temperature, to use as a room heater, which kept failing due to frequent electricity outages. When I questioned the charges, the manager dismissed it with, 'It’s your problem you didn’t use the mattress we provided.' After confronting him about the missing heated mattress, he argued with his staff, realized his mistake, promised to resolve it, and then blatantly lied about leaving to consult the owner. An employee revealed he was still at the hotel, and when confronted via phone, the manager hung up. Unsurprisingly, we never got our money back. We ended up crammed on a small, damp, foul-smelling bed in a dimly lit, freezing room. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place entirely. To give credit where it is due, the owner of the hotel helped the guest who was allocated the room with the vomit and moved them to a different property he owned. He also gave them a lift to that property himself. I wish the staff was better trained!

DO NOT STAY HERE AT ANY COST! I recently had a horrible stay at this hotel. I was on a solo trip and had to stay alone in this terrible hotel for day. There were only a few guest here. When I went to check-in I saw that they have switched off the lights everywhere and it was darkness everywhere. One guy came and switched on the lights on the corridor so that I can walk to my room which was both - creepy and weird. There was not even drinking water in the room and I had to look around for that guy in darkness to ask for water. He gave me a jug of water and vanished. Next morning there was a powercut and I was again in darkness and cold alone in my room. I waited for 2 hours for them to switch on the generator so that I can bath and ran away from this place. No one did that and I had to go out in the January cold and look for people to switch on the generator twice and at last I had to call the owner. There was not even one single person in the reception area and it was almost impossible for the guest to connect with the staff here. I found one guy cooking in the kitchen of their restaurant and that's how I was able to call the owner.

Rooms are quite good. But the room heater is not working. Frequent power failure occurred during our syat. No staffs were available to solve the issues. Blanket is not fresh. Food is very good. Not recommended this hotel on winter season.
