Had a horrible experience. If there was a minus rating, that would suit this cheap hotel best. Rude behaviour from staff. Pathetic maintenance. Extremely poor customer service. Door keys don’t work. You need to insert keys a minimum of 10-15 times and wait for the door to open. No fan. AC did not work, I was sweating. And on requesting a different room, the receptionist yelled at me. Phone not working. AC not working. No mirror in the room. No window no ventilation. I was suffocating. I ordered one tea, they charged 375 for that. They are just duping customers. The stay was really unpleasant. It doesn’t justify the pictures posted online. Dark place with no lights, full of negativity. Go to OYO, that is far better than this hotel.

This hotel is amazing!!!!|I completely enjoyed my stay here. So much that I hated saying goodbye to the warm comfy bed, the soft comforters, the welcoming, serene vibe of the room. The rooms are clean and cool and the view is great. |Staff is very helpful. Food is very nice too. Cant wait to stay at Svenska again!!

The food served at Soul restaurant truly is soul touching food. Loved the taste, and the freshness of the food, which was further enhanced with the warmth of the their staff - Rimon and Chandan. |Strongly recommend their Grilled Caujan fish and the hand tossed pizza. If you like Rotis then do try the Bengali fish curry. Stomach is full but the feeling that I want to have one more is not gone. Will surely come back.

Rimon and Raju was serving us Sadik was the manager and kudos to both for the warm experience. Their buffet is straight off the kitchen and I can guarantee you nowhere else you will get this fresh buffet

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was marred by poor customer service, particularly regarding an issue with the charges on my credit card. Upon noticing that a charge had been blocked on my card, I informed Mr. Wasi, the staff member handling my check-in, that I would be happy to sign the credit card slip once I had received clarity on the charges. Instead of offering any assistance or flexibility, Mr. Wasi refused to allow me to proceed with my check-in unless I signed the slip immediately, despite the fact that the money was already blocked on my card. His response was not only dismissive but also unprofessional, leaving me feeling as though my concerns were not being taken seriously. As a guest, I expected a more understanding and accommodating approach, especially when dealing with financial matters. The lack of empathy and flexibility demonstrated by Mr. Wasi was deeply disappointing and not what I would expect from an establishment of this caliber. Also after checking I can able to find lot of dust and hair in the room which clearly shows what type of hotel it is. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the customer service issues with their staff to ensure future guests are treated with more respect and professionalism. I would be hesitant to return given the way this situation was handled.

I’ve stayed at Svenska Design Hotels in Electronic City twice, and both stays were pleasant. The suite room was comfortable, providing a relaxing experience. The shower in the other room I stayed earlier was broken, looked like wear and tear. Might need a round of maintenance. Would be nice if you could leave a room slippers and enough towels and toiletries.

While the check-in process was already challenging, the checkout experience was far worse and left me extremely dissatisfied. During checkout, I was charged for various services that I did not use, such as cab charges, even though I only stayed in the room and did not avail of any transportation services. I requested that the invoice reflect only the room tariff, as per my booking voucher. However, the front desk staff informed me that it was not possible due to the way the system was designed. After some discussion, they promised to send me a revised invoice via email by 11 AM after consulting with their corporate office in Mumbai. It has now been two days, and despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received any response or the revised invoice. I don’t how to get the revised invoice itself During my stay and time of checkout, I asked the front desk to arrange a meeting with Mr. Santhosh (the manager), but this request was never fulfilled. I was told that Mr. Santhosh would be available after 11 AM during checkout, but I did not see him at any point. It seemed that there was no intention to allow guests to meet with him, as other guests were also inquiring about him and had similar complaints. This lack of communication and accountability was extremely frustrating. I found the front desk staff, including a lady who was handling my checkout and Mr. Washi to be unhelpful and dismissive. They were not willing to address my concerns or offer any solutions, and it appeared that they were unwilling to escalate the issue to someone who could resolve it. Given these issues, I feel that I have not received the level of service that was expected, and I am very disappointed with the handling of my concerns. I request other guest also to boycott this kind of hotels.

While the hotel is well-located in Electronic City, making it convenient for business travelers, several aspects of our experience were disappointing. The linens and upholstery looked worn out, and there were minor cleanliness issues that shouldn't be overlooked in a premium hotel. The air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly, which made the room uncomfortable at times. The staff were polite but seemed understaffed, leading to slow service. Check-in took longer than expected, and room service requests were delayed. Breakfast was a letdown with limited options and mediocre taste—something we didn’t expect from a hotel of this category.
