NillThe only restaurant on Om Beach offers a serene dining experience with breathtaking views of the ocean. Perched perfectly to provide panoramic sights, it’s an ideal spot to relax and enjoy delicious food. The menu features a variety of dishes catering to different tastes. During my visit, I tried their banana pancakes, which were soft, flavorful, and perfectly sweetened. I also had egg toast paired with a steaming cup of tea—a simple yet satisfying combination that added to the charm of the place. Whether you’re seeking a hearty meal or a light snack, this restaurant promises a delightful culinary experience with an unforgettable ambiance.

NillHands down the best Beach view cafe. You literally walk out of the restaurant and there’s the beach. However the taste was not living up to the hype. We went here for brunch and the food was okay. Staffs didn’t bother to attend. We had to wait for a good 10minutes for the plates and the menu. They have a massage centre within the accommodation area. One of the worst massages I’ve ever taken. And of course overpriced. You’ll be taken to a hideous cramped place where they give massages. And try to sell their Ayurveda and herbal oils. Would definitely not recommend!

NillNamaste Cafe, located on Om Beach, has a nice beach view, but the staff could be more attentive. I found it to be overpriced and overhyped. I tried the cheese chilly toast, which was average, but the watermelon juice was refreshing and good. It’s a nice spot for the view, but not the best for food or service.

NillWe stayed at Namaste Cafe during a long weekend. The price was high for the rooms because of the holidays. The rooms are very basic, not like a hotel ,but neat and clean. AC was working good,so stay was comfortable. The food was below average, however this is the main cafe available at Om beach, that is why so many ratings. Little difficult for anyone with leg or knee issues because going back to room from beach and cafe is quite a tough climb. Parking available at hotel premises.

NillThere are two things about this place. The rooms and the cafe. The rooms are on the interior side and the cafe is closer to the beach(kind of like private entry to the beach). ROOMS: 1. I had read the reviews about the steep stairs and its true. This place is not wheelchair accessible. People with knee/leg issues will have too much problems. 2. The room provided to us had a moldy smell. There were molds everywhere and slugs would enter at night through the bathroom pipelines/drains/windows which was disgusting. 3. The room service is okayish. Hardly they come to clean the place. They don’t have intercom , so you need to save the reception’s number to call for issues. 4. Per the price, rooms can be better. 5. There is no lighting at the entire hotel outside. We travelled post monsoon and frogs will hop on you, caterpillars/spiders falling on you in the dark. 6. Good thing is , the beach is near so you can visit whenever you want. CAFE: 1. Cafe is situated at a beautiful location. We get an amazing sunrise/sunset view. 2. Cafe is too expensive. A single meal for two people is more than 1000. Taste is okay as compared to the price.

NillThe rooms are clean and nice. The location is wonderful and the cafe has a huge property inside. The only problem with the rooms is that you have to climb a lot of stairs. The cafe is peaceful and calming. The rooms are cosy. They have hot water for only 2-3 hours a day. Overall a nice experience.

NillGuys take this as a genuine review!!!! The location is just great!!! The food is average. You get alcohol as well. The worst thing are the insects around in the cafe. They can be found in the food as well. So if you can ignore eating insects you can come to the place to enjoy nature and a sip !!!

NillI booked this hotel by looking at the very good reviews, but the reality is entirely different. Most of the pics shown in the reviews are of a cafe which is on the beach side and has a beach view which is really good. But when it comes to the rooms, I see more negatives. 1. The map shows that this hotel is 6-7km from the gokarna. But this is a ghat road which is very narrow and lot of pot holes in between. There is no street light for the entire 6km and it is very difficult to drive at night. This hotel is not suitable if you are visiting the temple. 2. The hotel entry is next to om beach entry. For getting into the om beach (from om beach entry) we need to climb down ~100 steps. The same can be accessed from the hotel as well. They have made private path from the reception. We need to climb down almost the same altitude. 3. The reception is on top of the hill which is connected by road. But the rooms and cafe are at the bottom, middle of the hill. We need to keep climbing up and down for every small thing. The path and steps are so steep and not so easy to climb up. Need to take 2-3 min rest to catch up the breath after climbing up for anything. Don't prefer this if you have elders on the trip. 4. The rooms are below average, the cost is very high when compared to the room amenities. The pillows and bed have fungus inside, better to carry your own blanket. soap, brushes, towels are not provided. 5. The check in time is 1 pm which is very hard to manage. they mentioned that we can use the common washroom for fresh up. But the common washrooms are really really bad. They left a big open ventilation on the walls which makes it uncomfortable for ladies to freshup. I forgot to click the pic so unable to share here. These are the washrooms that the hotel staff, drivers are using and they are not at all maintained. They are almost equal to the pay and use toilet facilities near the pilgrim places. 6. Finally coming to the cafe, it is nicely positioned with a very good beach view. Food tastes very good. Service needs to be improved. Too much delay in both taking the order and serving the order and the food is also super costly. 1 plain dosa costs 150 rs. Juices are good.
