Vivanta Mangalore, Old Port Road

Walked into a clean lobby with professional decor. Smiling front desk staff. Very helpful. Got the room. Lift is clean and big and works. No creaks. Key card works. Room was big enough, king bed, clean bathroom and every single thing worked like it should. Morning buffet breakfast- smiling helpful staff. Great spread. Lots of choices. Had all the local and western choices. Amazing experience!!

Had an amazing stay as always in a Vivanta hotel. What made this particular stay so special was Sudheesh and his team. I can’t thank the staff enough for having our every need met to the highest standard, nothing was ever too much trouble. I’d like to thank mani deep and Saliya for making the most amazing cocktails and for their chat on drinks and mixology. The breakfast staff were attentive and making sure we understood the menu in great detail. Rooms and passageways were always kept immaculate with great comfortable bed with nice clean linen. I honestly couldn’t fault the hotel one bit which is greatly down to Sudheesh for keeping such a tight ship. We will certainly be back for more Vivanta luxury and indulgence.

Possibly the oldest and best luxury hotel in Mangalore, Vivanta is a short 5 minutes away from Mangalore Central Railway Station and about 30 minutes from Mangalore Airport.||The hotel is well maintained and the upkeep is good. Check-in was smooth thanks to Pragath at the front office. We found the rooms comfortable. Not much of a view. The breakfast spread was good and the food was tasty. The hotel is centrally located and the famous Mangalore restaurant 'Narayana' is a just 2-minute walk away. ||We enjoyed our brief stay here and hope to be back soon.

We ended up staying 1 night at this hotel on 2 occasions. It is a lovely modern hotel and our room was very comfortable - tastefully decorated and well equipped. The buffet breakfast is fab and the dinner we had one of the evenings we were there was really good. The swimming pool area is nice and there is a small gym. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the reception areas is great. The area around the hotel is a bit mixed but from my experience not too different from other hotels we stayed at on our trip.

Nice place and great customer service. Very accommodating staff. Approach road may be not as good, but once you enter the property, I felt very welcoming. Restaurants inside are nice and good food. Enjoyed the breakfast with Indian variety as well continental variety. Swimming pool and the surroundings are well maintained and nice looking. Outside seating for the restaurant is also very nice. Overall experience is great and I will recommend this place any time.

Great experience with good food, we had a nice port facing room. Special thanks to the dining team that helped prepare mashed Dal Kitchdi for our little one. ||Also like the experience at the buffet, couldn’t experience the fitness centre and pool during our stay.

Amazing ambience. Very comfy and staff were just too good… loved the mangalore buns served piping hot - missed korma with poori bhajji but we will be back next time for it||Deepa from Sirsi and Nisarga were amazing staff ||Rooms were clean and serviced beautifully each day

Received very warm welcome. ||View is like awesome as there is a overlooking sea. ||Provided amenities were too good. Highly recommended for a sea view room. All the provided services are upto the mark. A very quick response for anything that is been requested for.
