Grand Mercure Mysore

Pros: The rooms are good, washrooms are tidy & well equipped. There is a small kids play area near to the dining room. Buffet breakfast was good. An excellent spacious pool on rooftop, a gym and a spa which is serene and calm. Gym is well maintained. There is a relaxing area near the pool. There is a small bar and restaurant on ground floor. Also There is valet parking. Cons: Rooms are with few stains here and there in carpet, armchair and on the bed linen. There is no pool/garden view room as the location is admist the city. One of the two lift was out of service when we stayed. We had to wait for 15mins every time to use the lift. The buffet food (breakfast) taste was excellent and quite satisfying. Except the place is highly crowded to accommodate all the people in a compact dine-in room. Had to wait for 15-20 mins to get into a table for breakfast. On top of it, there was fruit flies everywhere on the fruits and desserts. I hope the management will look into the cleanliness part while serving food like buffets. Finally,the check in process/waiting time was more than 20mins. Also The wifi didn't connect when we checked in and the room key didnt work properly. We called the front desk like 4-5times to rectify the same. Everytime someone picks up the phone and say we will look into it and nothing happens. Even after 4 calls. The front desk can speed up the process on the above issues. Overall, a good stay cation for holidays.

Excellent service, friendly staff, Good food served by Manik and Tapas and others in the dining hall was excellent. The chef Vijay’s south Indian expertise, we enjoyed thoroughly. Badanekai gojju was prepared very well with perfect ingredients. Enjoyed it with akki rotti. Overall, stay in this hotel was good. Keep up the same service and the smiling face for the customers. 💐💐

I recently stayed at Hotel Grand Mercure Mysore and had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent, with easy access to key attractions and local restaurants. The staff provided exceptional service throughout my stay, always polite and ready to help. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. Rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. While the hotel offers good service overall, I believe more amenities could be added, considering it's a 5-star property. The dining options were decent, but a bit more variety would enhance the experience. The ambiance of the hotel is elegant and welcoming. Housekeeping and room service were prompt and professional. Overall, it's a great choice for a stay in Mysore, especially if you're looking for a convenient location and excellent hospitality.

Jeannate and zakia were very helpful in fetching water and any other items we needed. Rooms were clean, and hotel is in a good area, close to lights and the Mysore palace. Yoga is offered in the mornings on weekends, and Hansini did a great job tailoring the experience for us. Service is slow though, and we had to ask multiple times to get the things we asked for

I am a Accor Plus member with Silver and well aware of Accor group worldwide.. Our first time staying here in Mysuru after we recently moved here and decided to stay her for our anniversary.. Pre check in support was very average as getting connected to duty managers was a stressful thing as I was trying to get something setup for our anniversary celebration to surprise my wife.. After check in staff was great including housekeeping and dining members.. Outlet Manager Sanjay was the best person in our stay here as he was soo welcoming and accommodating us as we came with a year old infant.. Hotel food, swimming pool and spa services can do better especially Spa staff was not much interested to talk to us when we enquired about packages even still my wife took head massage.. Overall, this property can improve in customer service and customer approach for a 5 start hotel. Staff and food quality needs to improve

I recently stayed at the Grand Mercure Mysore, and while it was a decent stay, there were some highs and lows. The food was definitely a highlight - I enjoyed the delicious meals served at the hotel. The stay itself was comfortable, and the reception staff were really helpful and courteous. However, one area that fell short was the bathroom, which I found to be a bit small. But what really took away from my experience was the valet parking staff, who was unhelpful and rude. They didn't seem interested in assisting me, which was disappointing. Overall, I'd say the Grand Mercure Mysore has its strengths and weaknesses. While it's a great option for exploring Mysore, with its central location and excellent amenities like a rooftop pool and spa, guests might want to be aware of the potential drawbacks. Despite this, I appreciated the hotel's elegant ambiance and the professional staff. If you're looking for a comfortable stay with good food and service, Grand Mercure Mysore might be worth considering. Just be aware of the potential parking issues. I recently stayed at hotel Grand Mercure.and had a wonderful experience. The stay was very enjoyable good was excellent and service was outstanding. Special thanks to Tapas and Kim for their warm and attentive service which made my meals even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place.

I recently traveled from New York and stayed at the Hyatt Centric in Times Square, and unfortunately, it was a deeply disappointing experience. Despite paying a staggering $8,000 for six nights, the service was shockingly poor—easily deserving no more than a 1-star rating. It’s hard to put into words just how inadequate and unprofessional the hospitality felt. In stark contrast, my arrival at the Mercure Grand in Mysore was a breath of fresh air. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the food was consistently delicious. While the facilities could certainly benefit from some maintenance, I’ve always believed that it’s the people who truly define a hotel—and here, they absolutely shined. Breakfast was a highlight every single day; the meals were flavorful and never repetitive. Special mention goes to Mr. Tanmay, who handled night duties with exceptional grace and kindness. He truly made a lasting impression. I noticed the hotel’s rating on Booking.com is below 8, which I feel doesn’t reflect the quality of service and experience offered. In my opinion, it deserves at least a 9.
