Hotel Maurya

We were ignored by the reception staff who were instead sitting in the lobby chatting, watching us standing at the desk, calling "hello?" for service. The room was ok, basic but clean enough and quite pleasant. There was no kettle, tv, toiletries and no internet in the rooms. We specifically booked a room with wifi as we need to take work zoom meetings. So we had to leave and find another place. It's pretty near the palace though, but very noisy.

They charged me 1120 for the room where the flush was not working, bathroom is very unclean, there was no water bottles even the bed spreads are not changed.. The door latch was damaged in the room..They promised hot water from 5 to 8 but no hope. It wasn't working as well. Above all they urge and insist you to pay before you see the room. Never ever try this Hotel... There are no.coordination among the Staff. If there were a negative star rating, could have given it...

Worst hotel. Very old hotel with hyped rates. I was charged 1000rs for a dulex room. I booked it online. It was not even worth 400. They promised hot water between 5am to 9 am. But that was not the case. No hot water for shower. No TV, no lift, very dirty bedsheet and mattress. There were alot of stains on the bedsheets. I felt it was not changed for a quite some time. No blankets provided. I had a sleepless night. If you are a hygiene oriented person then it's a big NO 👎

Disappointing. First rooms I was shown were filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned. Unsurprisingly despite booking ahead the only clean room was a more expensive one. Even then the sheets were dirty and stained, and they hadn't been changed. Plus points is I didn't get bed bugs at least. Poor value at 1000 INR plus tax. Staff are helpful but only in the sense of arranging expensive private buses that they get a kick back from, rather than providing info on the public buses.

We were originally going to stay only 3 nights but ended up staying 5 as the staff were so welcoming and the deluxe double room on the top floor with dual balconies was so spacious and comfortable. For a 3 star hotel it was great value and cleaner than most properties we’d stayed in in India of the same standard. The wifi was only available in the public areas. Well located.

Not super clean. Noisy environment. Manager speaks very ill of other people and guests, including myself. Manager also wants money, if guests want to help each other with anything. I will not come back!

This hotel is located in one of the bylanes, near the Mysore Palace. Pros: - The location is pretty central. - The rooms are big, and more or less clean. - The bathrooms are clean. - The linen is clean. - The staff is friendly and very helpful. - The price is excellent. Cons: - The parking area is a bit of the walk from the hotel. - My room was probably locked up for a while, so there was a thin film of dust on some surfaces. - No food facilities available, except tea. - The tea is kinda watery. - No Air Conditioned rooms. As you can see, the pros far outweigh the cons. The lack of food facilities is also not that big of a problem, because there are good restaurants within walking distance, catering to both Veg & Non-Veg palates. The parking is a bit of a walk, but on the plus side, it is a very secure paid parking. Mr. Sufiyan was the receptionist who checked me in, and he comes across as a really friendly/helpful guy. Overall, this hotel is proper value for money, and if you can deal with the lack of air conditioned rooms, this hotel is great. BTW, the building is big and airy, so it doesn't get too hot either.

The hotel is very good as well as staff are also very obedient and Co optative.and it's very near to all the tourist places like palace| Restaurants.nd it's very near to the Railway station and as well as Central bus station. nd ( And you don't feel that we are staying at the hotel) and totally a family environmental place😊
