Not recommended at all - not bothered about customers. Telephone connections were not working, towels were not provided despite reprated asking, bathroom was rusty old, no basic amenities like glasses, water heater etc. Ac was not cooling as well. Overall one shall avoid despite location being an advantage.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at **Green Wood Inn** in Mysore, and it was a fantastic experience. Located right in the heart of the city, the hotel is perfectly positioned for anyone looking to explore Mysore's main attractions. Major sights like Mysore Palace, the Zoo, and Chamundi Hill are all easily accessible, which made my trip incredibly convenient. The hospitality at Green Wood Inn was top-notch. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with any request. Their warm welcome and excellent service really made me feel at home. What makes this place even better is its affordability. Despite its central location, the hotel offers very reasonable rates, making it a great option for budget-conscious travelers. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering great value for the price. Overall, Green Wood Inn is a perfect choice for anyone visiting Mysore. Affordable, centrally located, and backed by wonderful hospitality – I highly recommend it!

We have booked 2 double rooms for 4 members, rooms are congested and not clear, very dim light, we went for room upgrade to premium room , room is good with 1 double cot and 2 single cots, 1 table, 1 tea pie, 1 chair and 1 wardrobe , toilet is good here, we have centralised geyser, but we have side fan where swing is not working, tv remote not working,AC remote not working, good view of the road from windows, spacious. Lengthy process to contact customer care. We have offered free breakfast and it's good but not hot, and tea/ coffee is not good. The lift is horrible it stopped in the middle of the floor where we could see the wall. Parking is difficult because it's located in a traffic area. The hotel is located in the middle of the city, the samudra hotel is opposite to it and there is a masjid in front of the hotel and the church is also walkable. Lights are dim like a depression room that I feel, after moving to the premium room we felt comfortable. Good experience or ok ok in a premium room.

The hotel looks grand from outside but it is just a normal economy hotel. Rooms are small. Hot water was available 24 hours. The don't have restaurant, so no breakfast. They have very less staff. While check in, the receptionist handed over us 2 shampoo sachets and 1 small soap at the counter. Bathroom was clean and liquid handwash & body wash dispenser was kept in the bathroom. Ac was working properly but the ceiling fan was making too much noise, which was irritating and disturbing. A small TV with few cable network was available. We did not book in advance. The room rent was reasonable. Parking is available in basement and 2-3 cars can be parked in front of hotel. The road in front of hotel is very busy.

Hotel Reception is grand makes u feel that the room will be very neat and clean. However it was a totally opposite. Dirtiest room with mosquitos and dust all around and sofa chair is most dirty as if never ever cleaned. What is left to say about the bathroom which is the most pathetic. Room and bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Dirtiest and disgusting furniture with mosquitoes and most dirty bathroom.

A three storied restaurant in the city of Mysore. For people who like to visit tourist destinations in Mysore this would be very convenient.It seems that the management is not interested in doing the maintenance work.The door of the washroom needs urgent repair as it cannot be closed tight.

I stayed in end of December 2020 with family. Room was bigger, but not clean. All wooden furniture were stink. Good to have hot water whole day. Receiption staff was not cooperating while servicing. Hotel don't have restaurant, they bring food from outside. Only single helper in whole hotel. Overall ok if you are spending more time out doing sightseeing.
