Hotel BS International Mysore

I had a terrible experience booking a room for four people at BS International in Mysore for two nights. Despite informing the hotel of our delayed arrival, they assured us it was fine. However, upon arrival, we were told the room was full and our booking had been canceled, even though I had already paid in advance for two nights and received no prior notice of the cancellation. The staff were extremely rude, refusing to help or offer any alternatives. At a very late hour, they wouldn’t even allow us to stay in the lobby while we searched for a new place.

It was a mistake staying here. The only good thing is it is opposite to a famous church (spectacular view of the church). The rooms are bad and we booked online and later found the room is small. They said it is a family room for 3 and lateron I had to sleep on the floor in a tight corner of the queen bed in a mattress. We found equivalent rooms in nearby hotels were half the cost we paid. The room was dirty, blanket was torn, service was shady. We asked for a room upgrade, they refused. We said we will pay extra, and they quoted a price higher than the Plaza!! We agreed as there was no other way and they agreed verbally but never gave the upgraded room. I fell ill staying there. This place is a strict 'no' even for budget travellers. Avoid this like anything.

Well its the rudest experience we had. They charge extremely high but the place is not at all safe. Being a woman I constantly felt unsafe of the hotel boys. My family was there with me and we booked a room for 3. We got an extremely congested two bedded room, the washroom was not in working conditions. When we complained they started shouting telling us to leave. They denied us any refund since we booked with mmt. I had paid 1500 for a room where cockroaches were roaming about. They didn't even change the bedsheets from the last guest as it was dirty. They didn't bother to give us soap or a towel. Extremely aggressive behaviour and threatening behaviour from the reception. Please if u are a single woman dare not to book this hotel

The room was okay.The washroom was not well maintained bed spreads was not changed we saw the stain on the bed spreads.Overall I am not satisfied.

This hotel staff (the person sitting in the gift shop especially) was very rude. We had booked this hotel on Agoda 3 days in advance and we even received a confirmation mail with all the booking details. But when we reached the hotel, they just said "All rooms are full" inspite of showing them the booking confirmation, they were least interested in helping us. They told that we shouldn't have booked on Agoda, we should have booked on make my trip and all such nonsense stories. My honest suggestion do not trust hotel, the location of this hotel was very bad, the area is very congested and there were men smoking in the lobby. We 4 members including 2 aged people have travelled from Bangalore to Mysore trusting this hotel and when we come here, we have no place to stay, we tried getting rooms and checked in almost 20 hotels, neither did we receive help from the hotel staff nor did we receive any help from Agoda... Very very bad experience.

This hotel is very filthy and unhygenic. The hotel is not mantained at all. Even though it is around 3 KM from the Mysore palce - not at all a place to stay.

The person in the store in front of the hotel seems to run the hotel. He denied our room booking despite getting a booking confirmation from Agoda. Even though the booking was done much prior to our travel to Mysore the hotel didn't even have the courtesy to let us know that they would cancel our booking. This was all done to probably hike the prices and gain more profit for the long weekend we had come for. Totally unacceptable service!
