Hotel Paradise

I wish there was an option to rate this hotel (-5) out of 5! Hotel Paradise by Dasaprakash Group in Mysuru is stuck in the 1980s, and unfortunately, it has not evolved since then. My cousins and I (3 members) booked a room here for the long Independence Day weekend through an online platform. From the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing: 1. The grand but ageing concrete façade immediately felt neglected and outdated. 2. The premises were poorly maintained, with overgrown vegetation and no staff in sight. 3. The massive reception area had only one manager/caretaker, who seemed disinterested and disconnected. He seemed to be living and breathing in a bygone era.. 4. Our assigned room was a nightmare, an old “boxy” Onida TV, dim outdated lights, and a bathroom that was practically unusable (broken taps, non-functional flush, etc). The caretaker told us that he would give us buckets of water for bathing! 5. The long, deserted hallways felt eerie, just like the set of a horror movie. 6. Room service was non-existent. The overall vibe of the hotel was unwelcoming and unsettling. We checked out immediately and shifted to another hotel. While you may come across attractive photos of this property online, please do not be misled, the reality is drastically different!

Worst hotel I have stayed. They just have big space but service is worst. They are extremely short staffed. Their restaurent is useless. They overcharge for everything. We dint even get hot water and proper drinking water.

The South Indian food at Hotel Dasa Prakash was truly enjoyable—flavorful and authentic, capturing the essence of traditional cuisine. The environment was peaceful, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. However, one issue stood out: the ice cream bowl we received was not properly cleaned, with visible green patches on it. Hygiene is a key factor in dining experiences, so it would be great if the restaurant addresses this to maintain its otherwise high standards. Overall, a pleasant experience with great food and a calm ambiance, but attention to cleanliness is essential.

I just stay opposite to this. But my relatives stayed here. Beautiful location. One of the oldest landmark of Mysore. I think owned by famous Dasaprakash group. Was told maintenance and service require more improvement. Food is good. We dined here.

Worst experience staying in this hotel. There was frequent power cuts and in the extremely hot weather they took more than 10 mins every time to switch on the generator. Couldn’t sleep in the night . Bathtub looked it could break anytime . Taps are old . Restaurant food was cold and had watery sambar . Coffee was 90% water. Seriously only good thing it’s a spacious hotel. We will never come again .

Place is preferable if one wants to waste the money. Lack of maintenance, malfunctioning plug points, leaky toilets, unhygenic wash taps, flooring and ceiling worn out , absolutely unattentive staff asking to adjust for the condition. Overall zero recommendatiom for descent family stay.

Nice hotel. I attended a marriage here.. marriage hall is small size that can have capacity of upto 150 peoples.. rooms are clean but not well maintained.. still ok Overall good 😊

Good hotel and good food....but the restaurant was empty when I arrived and only one other customer was there when I left...don't know why but the whole place was empty cuz the place is actually good and beautiful
