Chilanka Lake View Resort

Chilanka lake view is a gorgeous oasis next to the canal. The owner was very attentive, calling to check our arrival and meeting us by the road end to take our baggage to the resort. We had a lake side room where we could watch all the various boats busying about. The rooms were very clean with good AC. Breakfast was included and was very nice

The hotel was near the lake and had a great time over there.|We reached at 9 pm at the night. The manager was too helpful always trying best , food.| The room is very clear and comfortable. ||In the morning we went for the 3.5 hrs ride in the Shikara boat around the lake and the driver of the boat is very good and humble and he speaks little English too which makes us easy to communicate. He also let us drive the boat in the middle of the lake which was interesting and fun to do.||Recommended to stay.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good stay at Chilanka Lake View Resort. The room was, dirty and stinky and the bed was extremely hard. It was impossible to sit somewhere comfortable because also the outside chairs were very stiff. In one month traveling through India this was the dirtiest bathroom I have seen. The walls looked like they have not been cleaned in years. The property generally needs a lot of maintenance. Luckily the staff was extremely friendly and helped us with organising activities to a really good price. Also the location directly by the lake is beautiful. This place has a lot of potential but the rooms desperately need more care and especially deeper cleaning.

One of the best stays I have experienced in Kerala. The location of the property was extremely nice. It was just beside the lake hence the name is the perfect Chilanka Lake view resort. The rooms were decent but kul have been more lavish. It is getting renovated hence that problem will also be solved. The caretaker Ajay was a very friendly and very helpful person. He was an all rounder at the property doing all the stuff very politely and with full of humility. The only problem I faced was of Wi-Fi which I hope will be solved soon. The category was really really very good and was very humble and was very active helping us in solving minut problem as well. A perfect staycation near boat house or Lake view at Alappuzha

I visited there with my family and had a pleasant stay there, the property is one of a kind offers lake view and also have a spacious delux boat which is a literal luxury so you do not have to walk an inch to get the boat for backwater. Additionally the staff is friendly and very helpful. The staff there exceeded expectations.

Lake front view is amazing and also the services is excellent except food as they don't have in house restaurant but you can order through Zomato and Swiggy. Need to appreciate Augustine care taker who manages the place. I recommend this place to stay in Alleppey

The room was fine. Some rooms have extremely nice views over the lake. The location is a bit remote, and it is a bit difficult to get food.

Amazing experience with a beautiful lake view and pristine location. The staff was immensely helpful and accommodating. Would definitely return with the whole family.
