I had a wonderful one-night stay at Hotel Mango Lantern. The room was clean, cozy, and surprisingly spacious for a short visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and made check-in smooth and quick. I especially loved the warm ambiance and the subtle mango-themed décor—it gave the place a unique charm. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and satisfying. I stayed at Mango Lantern by Mirth and had a really calming experience. The property sits right beside Lake Ashtamudi, surrounded by greenery and open lawns, so the whole place feels peaceful from the moment you arrive. The rooms are clean, spacious, and warmly designed, ....and the outdoor areas especially the pool and garden are well maintained. There’s also a private boat jetty, which adds a beautiful touch to the stay. Sitting by the water or taking a quiet walk there during sunrise and sunset feels incredibly grounding..... The staff are polite without being intrusive, and the food is simple, clean, and comforting. Overall, it’s a lovely place to unwind if you want nature, privacy, and a quiet, aesthetic environment. We stayed at Mango Lantern with family, and it was an exceptional experience. The property is beautifully constructed on the serene banks of the Ashtamudi Lake in Kollam, offering premium facilities with plenty of open spaces and complete privacy—something you rarely find even in many 5-star resorts. The lush lawn, beautiful pool, and thoughtfully designed spaces make it perfect for relaxation. The staff were extremely courteous, and the in-house chef deserves a special mention for the amazing seafood dishes prepared fresh for us. Whether you’re travelling as a small group or looking for a private luxury retreat in Kollam, Mango Lantern is the perfect choice.
