Nice location amidst the forest and tea estates. However, you have to tread an adventurous path to reach there. Staff are polite and courteous. Rooms are spacious, including bathrooms. General upkeep is poor. Many things are broken or dysfunctional. Restaurant hygiene is also susceptible. In general, I will not opt this again.

The hotel is around 10kms away from the city. It is advisable that one reaches the hotel in the daylight, since there are no street lights otherwise in the area and its a steep ride towards the hotel. Mr. Philip & Mani are good hosts. The hotel is located amidst tea gardens and is a wonderful property to stay in. The rooms are big and spacious enough. They have garden and mountain view rooms available. A standard room can easily accommodate 3 people. Though there is not much staff available, but the service is ok. The breakfast they serve is good. The lift in the hotel does not work. The washrooms are ok, hot water and toiletries are available. You have a lot of places to visit around. All in all a good accommodation for a decent price.

Very good view and well maintained property. Such a nice peaceful place. The staffs are very friendly. Food is also good. The hotel is 10 kms from Munnar town in the peak so it ll take half an hour from town , but its worth a stay. Only one problem, no mobile network available there except BSNL.

Oak Field Resorts, Munnar is not in Munnar. It is 10 KMs away from the centre. However the hotel looks like it is located near the town (there is a bridge). This google maps location is *WRONG*. We had to roam for 1 hour trying to find the right location of the hotel which is more than 10KMs away from the town! We went in the Bison Valley Road in the Abad-TallTrees- OakField hotel route for more than 10Kms. The road is very narrow and fit only for 1 vehicle. Be prepared to have some scratches in your car if you are driving there yourself. Finally when we got there, it was a nice location. The tea plantation on the right of the hotel and cardamom/forest on the left side. Around the entire left side, there are ruins from broken things - not a good sight. We got to the hotel around 3pm even though our ETA was 12:00pm. Thanks to the wrong hotel spot in Google; we were so tired by the time we reached the Hotel. We wanted to grab something to eat and ate ala carte from the Hotel restaurant. It was OK. We were hungry. The next morning we woke up to a rude truth. The breakfast buffet starts at 8:30am. I've been to several continents and stayed at many hotels. This is the very first time the breakfast is served so late in a hotel. If you are looking for an early start, you are not in luck! When it is served, it is very modest.Food quality and taste is poor-average only. The bathrooms are horrible! Soap scum mixed with dirt gives the black lining on everything in the bathroom. The shower cube to the closet, sink etc. It's horrible. If you are the kind that expects the bathroom to define a hotel, you are sure going to be disappointed. The bed, the rest of the deal etc. are average. Cannot put a pin on anything being great. When we talked to the reception about the location mistake in Google, he said yeah, somebody else complained too. But we were little offput by the fact that they didnt care about it or take any action. Makes me wonder! was that intentional? Plus, they don't allow credit/debit cards. Cash only. I wouldnt recommend this hotel. My family stayed 2 nights, 24th March 2016 and 25th March 2016.

Very Poor Quality Resort, 1 give the welcome drink to the guest. 2 give the at least dormitory accommodation to the driver, and also clean the bathroom facility of the Driver. When you are giving the driver food please give at least hygiene place to eat the food ok. Thank you

5 kilometres from town on a terrible road. Polite and enthusiastic staff, good breakfast buffet, comfortable bed. Dirty water in bathroom, hot water only four hours a day.

Hotel is so good looking from outside . Inside the rooms are dirty , washrooms are horrible in condition , no hot water in the morning , no dinner included u have to order it , the staff's were well irresponsible, do go somewhere else ...

Amazing location. But this hotel is very old and going for renovation soon. So avoid booking this now. Access road is pathetic
