Love the stay at KTDC, the food was lovely specially the ghee roast dosha and coffee. The staff are very professional, friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Arun & Raju for their hospitality, keep up the good work. Highly recommend if you are travelling to chenganessery.

The hotel is located a bit out of town in a quiet place. Inspite of it we were able to get autos outside. We stayed here for visiting six out of 108 vaishnava divyasthalams. Staying here was a good choice for our purpose. The autofare around rs.60 for busstand. Hotel Aryas pure veg restaurent nearby is good. We even had lunch in the attached restaurent in this hotel, veg thali was really good. The room was comfortable and sheets were clean but on the whole some more cleaning of room and bathroom required. But on the whole value for money.

Being a government corporation (KTDC) run, I had my doubts. But was a pleasant surprise. It's an old property, but it has a charm of old Bungalow. The rooms are renovated and bathrooms are new and clean. Employees were super friendly and cooperative . There is a restaurant and they prepare food as you need(pretty much like a personal butler ) . The location is perfect on the Alappuzha changanasseri road couple of kilometres from changanasseri. ||

Had been to KTDC Tamarind on the Allapuzha Changnacherry road near the Contour resort during afternoon for lunch. Excellent meals. Very quick service and doesn't bite the purse also. The traditional Kerala cuisine was just tasty. ||Enough parking and toilet facility also available.

An absolutely good place to stay in budget. The service offered by the staff was mind blowing. The room was chilled as the staff turned the ac on expecting our arrival. It was a tad difficult to find the place at night due to a lack of proper signboards. The AC room cost 1500+ GST. Additional beds and covers were available for an extra charge. The interiors were also good. The restroom seemed old and could do with some repairs but nothing wrong with functionality. We called in the evening for an urgent requirement on the same day, and luckily got a room. The TV only had one channel and the remote was a bit wonky, so entertainment options were limited. Would definitely recommend this place for bachelors or friends outings.

This place belongs to Kerala Government and like all government institutions suffers from lack of publicity. It is a clean place to stop over. Lunch and dinners may be difficult to get since due to poor patronage they make only limited food; however tea, coffee and softdrinks are always available. if you are lucky they may have some snacks; thier hot pakodas are tasty. They have a beer parlour which is popular with the locals.||||Next time while driving from alleppey to changanacherry look up this place.
