OYO Flagship Kaveri Tourist Home Guruvayur

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had booking a hotel. I arrived at 1 AM, and most nearby hotels were fully booked, so I came to this hotel. They refused to give a room to solo travelers, citing a notice from the police. I had to call my parents in the middle of the night to confirm I was visiting the temple, and the call had to be made from their mobile. Later, I inquired with the police, and they denied issuing such a notice. Regarding the room, they provided room number 205, and it was just okay. They charged me ₹700, which was not worth the money. The bed was so poor that if you sat on one side, the other side would lift up. The bedsheet they used was not good, making it uncomfortable to lay on. One thing I appreciated was that the toilet was very clean, although the tiles were faded. That was the only thing I needed. Regarding parking, there is a small parking space in front of the building, which is not enough. The hotel is located near the West Nada of Guruvayoor temple.

It's a fine budget lodge. Only 5 minutes walk from the temple. TV, A/c and hot water available. Towel and soaps are provided. Toilet is very spacious and kept clean. Room cleanliness is not upto the mark. Overall a good stay in sub 1k category.

Never book a room here. So I visited temple a while back with family and since option was near to templa so unfortunately I booked this place. Experience : These guys simply cheated me by providing me with smaller room but I booked and paid for premium rooms. I reached late in evening and left to the temple and when I came back and realised that I have been cheated the Hotel Staff lied on my face and said he would not provide me the correct room. OYO Experience : Worst support from the team. I would never suggest anyone to use this service. These guys takes commission for booking rooms and so they do nothing to sort this out. The room which was provided was worst. 1. No hot water. 2. No working TV 3. MOSQUITOS The place could become the centre for dengue and malaria diseases. Had the worst experience and wanted you to be alert hence posting this.

West side of the Guruvayur Temple. Walkable to Temple. This OYO hotel is less than average. No hot water provision inside the room, you have to get bucket and collect it from Common Hot water Tap. Joke is it has Solar water heater. So early morning or late night no hot water.

Worst experience of my travel and booking online,booked through Oyo for the temple visit,when we reached hotel the manager and staff said we don't entertain Oyo bookings due to payment issues.though we had initially spoken to manager itself and paid him itself,i even tried to show him the chat and payment we made,he did not even bother ,said talk to booking .com they have not paid us. At the end we left but luckily got a good property much better services on same day as it was full. Do not book this property online nor through Oyo,I'm strictly quitting Oyo bookings henceforth. When we contacted Oyo they said property still takes the booking but manager not responding

Our experience was not that great, we reached kaveri Tourist home on a rainy day , it was horrible experience with messy floor. our bed , was not at all clean for both rooms, all of them were itching, when we layed on bed. Felt like dusty bed and was not washed for couple of weeks or months. We reached on a cold day and we didn’t get hot water, our group had kids to old age people. Overall a bad experience. Only good thing happened was a service guy helped us to hire an auto in the early morning.

The tourist home is located at a walkable distance, very near to the west nada of Guruvayur temple. Good behaviour from staff and the room was small but ok for a one night stay. Parking & AC was available but no heater in washroom and no window curtain.

Located in very close proximity of the west Nada of the temple. Location is perfect if you are looking for a stay very close to temple. This one is an old property they renovated it and now its an OYO. Rooms are good, clean and value for money. Staff behavior was also nice. Hot water is present which is not stated in oyo app. Everything was close to perfect. Would recommend.
