Monsoon Apartments

Our stay at Monsoon Apartment was absolutely wonderful. We were a group of five, and the apartment comfortably accommodated all of us. There is honestly nothing negative to say—it exceeded our expectations in every way. The apartment is tastefully furnished and includes two spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms, a cozy living room, a modern kitchen, and two clean bathrooms (one attached and one common). The entire space was spotless and well-maintained. It’s part of a standalone building with just two apartments, located in a large, quiet compound that adds to the overall charm and privacy. What truly made our stay special was the owner’s hospitality. From the moment we arrived, he guided us like a local friend—helping us reach the apartment, recommending great restaurants, and suggesting must-visit places in the area. Out of all the places I’ve stayed so far, this one stands out as the best. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and homely experience.

Even though we only stayed for a night, our experience was nothing short of incredible. The place itself is spacious, peaceful, and surrounded by greenery, offering a relaxing atmosphere. What truly made our stay special was the warmth of the hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even inviting us to their home to celebrate Iftar with their family—an experience we will never forget. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel like more than just guests. If you're looking for a comfortable stay with amazing hosts who genuinely care about their guests, this is the place to be. The stay was truly wonderful and amazing. The place has a pleasant ambiance, and the owner was very kind and helpful. It is spacious and well-maintained, with excellent cleanliness. We were a group of 14 people, and the house comfortably accommodated all of us. Overall, it was a great experience, and everyone really enjoyed the stay.

Though it was just for a night, the feeling was that we're staying at a home away from home. Calm atmosphere, friendly hosts who made sure everyone was comfortable and cleanliness at its best. A lovely apartment managed by wonderful people is all we can expect when we arrive at monsoon. Only minus but not that much of a worry due to presence of food delivery would be the location and availability of nearby restaurants/shops. We need to travel few km for it. Apart from that, it is a perfect place to relax and wander.

Wonderful Stay at Monsoon Apartment, Kannur We stayed at Monsoon Apartment in Kannur for one month, and it was a great experience. The apartment is in the center of the town, so everything we needed was nearby, but it was still a very calm and quiet place. The house is spacious, surrounded by lots of trees, and has a relaxing atmosphere. My favorite part was the balcony, where I enjoyed the morning sunlight—it was so peaceful and refreshing. The apartment is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos. The best part of our stay was the kind and caring owners, Adnan and Reema Chechi. They made sure the place was always neat, clean, and safe. Their warm and friendly nature made us feel very welcome. If you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in Kannur, I highly recommend Monsoon Apartment. It felt like home, and we hope to come back again!

I had a great one-night stay at Monsoon Apartments. The peaceful neighborhood made it a perfect escape. The downstairs unit had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with one bath attached to a bedroom. The cozy living area and fully equipped kitchen made the stay even more convenient. The host was very helpful, and though food needs to be ordered or cooked, the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. It’s an ideal spot for a relaxing and comfortable stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Monsoon Apartments for three nights. The peaceful neighborhood made it an ideal escape. The apartment is surrounded by beautiful views of the jungle, but still very close to Kannur centre. The upper apartment comes with two bedrooms (AC), two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room and a large balcony. The service was outstanding, the hosts provided delicious breakfast (the best in India so far) and helped us out a lot with ordering a taxi and tuktuk’s, helping us book a train and letting us do laundry. Thanks for the wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend!
