I booked a room at this hotel expecting a decent experience, but it was disappointing from the start. The staff was impolite and lacked basic hospitality skills. I reserved the Executive Double AC room, but the air conditioning not working properly. The room itself was poorly maintained, dirty, and felt more like a budget accommodation, definitely not worth the price. The double bed was awkwardly arranged to appear like a queen size, and a blanket was considered an additional. Overall, this was the worst experience I’ve had with a hotel stay. Would not recommend.

Felt so happy for our stay. We used to stay here whenever we visit Kochi for many good reasons like great and silent location (very near to Ernakulam South Junction), Clean bathrooms & toilets and most importantly flexible check in and the time can be chosen when we book which is more customer friendly. Over-all a very satisfied stay as usual.

I recently stayed at Shalimar Residency on 14th Oct 2024 with my family where i booked 3 rooms. All are spacious rooms and very clean. We had a pleasant stay at that place while there staffs are very cooperative. My impression is too good for this property. Washrooms are also very clean and spacious. Finally Thanks to the Hotel management and Agoda where I booked it

Here’s a longer version: I had a terrible experience at this hotel. I booked an AC double room, but when I arrived, they demanded an extra ₹1000 for the air conditioning, despite my booking clearly stating that it was included. They refused any refund for cancellations. When I checked in, another guest was also arguing with them over similar issues. This place is absolutely not suitable for families – it felt more like a shady brothel, and I even saw police checks happening. I highly advise against staying here, especially if you're with family. Safety is a big concern.

Recently my group stayed gere ...the biggest issue of this hotel is the staff service , rooms had water issues after repeated calls no one bothered to attend guest and not a single staff available to carry guest luggage to transportation hotel or vice versa . We are booking other hotels for our groups in Cochin but never faced these type of staff service and behaviour.

It was Terrible experience at Shalimar Residency,Ernakulam.I was with my family and my infant kid.Receptionist was extremely rude and insensitive.while checkin I asked for Blanket in night,he told only 1 blanket can be provided and he added insensitively that I have to manage with that blanket,we were 3 adult and 1 infant kid,1 double bed and 1 single bed was there in room.Then I asked for mosquito repellent as there were mosquito.He told I have to adjust with mosquito,then I asked what if mosquito bite my infant baby and something happen,who will be responsible?then he told,I am the owner of this hotel,I will not be responsible for anything.Finally,after taking 100/-he provided mosquito repellent,same refunded while check out.Very insensitive and rude receptionist.people should avoid this hotel.Non cooperative staff is something customers can compromise with,but what if hotel staff show such hostile attitude toward customer.Even 1 star for this hotel is too much.

I booked the room through phone. They promised to share the location and not shared and didn't get in contact after the booking. After reaching they informed the booked room is not available.Very irresponsible. Bathroom is not cleaned. Rest are good.
