ibis Kochi City Centre

A basic and functional hotel. The hotel staff are really good and prompt to resolve any issues. It is located on one of the major roads of the city. The area is always bustling, it's easy to get any ride and close by to several major places. Despite this, the rooms are quiet. The rooms are pretty basic and small. There isn't even lot of space to keep any big suitcases or move around a little. The bed is also too soft for my liking. The breakfast buffet has sufficient items and all items tasted well. There is also a decent variety and change across multiple days along with some staple items. But the dinner is not good. We ordered several multiple items across a couple of days and none of them tasted any good. The dinner service is also quite slow.

It was a pleasure discussing with Mr. Kiran regarding our short stay and he made sure he could give the best he can. The overall experience wasn't out of the world but we had a good time. The best thing about this hotel was its central location. The rooms as you would expect were all nicely furnished and clean. The bathroom was a bit smaller than i expected but no issues. I gave a lower rating because i really didn't like the smell in the carpeted hallway . It was too strong and too artificial that it gave me a headache every time I walked to the lift. Oh and their reception was on the first floor instead of the ground floor. So the lift would ALWAYS stop on the first floor even without Pressing the button. It became a bit annoying

The breakfast at ibis was really good but what I want to highlight is the staff Vivek offered us outstanding service. He ensured all of us especially the kids got everything they wanted. Very happy :)

We had buffet breakfast at ibis cochin today and the service was exceptional. I am not someone who gets pleased very easily but Vivek who served us went above and beyond to ensure that everything was served perfectly and he even ensured that both my kids got the perfect waffles they wanted. Highly recommend.

Hotel is exceeded our expectations for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The friendly staff, clean rooms, and convenient location made it an ideal choice for our city break. Housekeeping chandu and team was excellent. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and fresh towels and amenities were provided promptly. While the room was generally clean, the bathroom could have used a more thorough cleaning Housekeeping staff chandru was very friendly and attentive to our needs We had to request extra towels on a couple of occasions.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were beautifully maintained and very comfortable. The staff, especially Alan, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. He suggested some fantastic places to visit, which really made my trip even more enjoyable. The entire team was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

I had an exceptional experience in ibis Cochin on 26th Nov Morning. I am wearing Ayyappa Mala hence I called their guests services and a girl in the reception picked the call, I requested her if she could arrange to send my complimentary breakfast to my room in all disposable plates and containers, she just kept my call on hold for 10sec and immediately confirmed that yes she will be able to and quickly connected me to their restaurant and briefed them about my requirement and immediately the girl in the restaurant give me the whole option of Veg food that I can have, I selected a few of them and she requested for 15min time for delivery. Within the said 15min,one gentleman brought the food in well packed disposable containers with disposable spoons kept on disposable plate, and kept inside my room for me to have. I was thoroughly thrilled by this unexpected service levels and customer orientation at ibis Cochin City Centre. The management is so well aligned to customers, the same is so very well visible by their services. All staff who were involved in my service, deserve a good recognition by the management.
