Hotel South Castle

I stayed at this hotel mainly for its budget-friendly rate (₹1000 for a non-AC room) and its convenient location near South Railway Station. While the room size was better than nearby options, the experience was far from satisfactory. The cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, was subpar, and essential amenities were missing. Additionally, the staff's unwelcoming attitude made the stay even less pleasant. Unless being close to the station is your only concern, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Hotel South Castle is located just near Ernakulam South Junction. It is easily accessible. The rooms are quite clean and bathroom were also clean. But the room was small and could have been better. But i would say it's worth for the price. I was priced 1200 for double person AC room. Check out time is 24 hours from the check in time, so it's actually better. Other hotels have certain checkout time like 10 AM or 12 PM but this one is 24 hours from checkin. It doesn't have restaurant. Overall it was okayish hotel. But i would say it's great value for money. Definitely go for it if you are staying for a short time and want to stay near Ernakulam junction.

Very very bad experience, in reception there is one hindi staff his behaviour is extremely bad and very careless staff. Good for nothing

Recommended for Budget Travelers ! Average Ambience ! If you don't want to spend more money for stay. You can choose this hotel. The hotel cost is 900rs for 2person 24Hours stay from what time you check-in. It is very near from Ernakulam RailwayStation, Walkable distance only.

Untidy room with bad quality water with worms and dirts in it. Bad toilet.

*A value for money hotel with clean rooms* We were 4 adults and 2 children from Goa and took 2 non AC double rooms during the 2023 Ganesh vacation in Sept for 3 nights. The cost was INR1050/- a room. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a TV but no hot water. The receptionist Piku will convincingly tell you that there is, when there isn't. Piku does not know to read and write so he'll make you wait for many hours to give you a receipt after you've paid money. The receptionist Israel is more helpful.
