The Fort Bungalow

I had a wonderful stay at this place The design is absolutely beautiful, with thoughtful touches throughout that make it feel both stylish and welcoming. The location is perfect, offering easy access to everything you might need or want to explore. The beds are comfortable, and the place is clean. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The owners are absolutely lovely, going above and beyond to make you feel at home. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning!

Fort Bungalow is a wonderful place to stay—clean, quiet, calm and utterly beautiful! The practical comforts are all there—great aircon and wifi, comfy bed, good shower—but the extras are the beauty, stylishness and sense of authenticity of this beautiful place. Joseph was a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough for us! We are so grateful to him and his tuktuk driver Hussain for their kindness and helpfulness to us. Thank you—we will be back!

We had a nice stay for 2 nights. The location is pretty central in Fort Kochi. Parking is difficult but we were not traveliing by car. The atmosphere of the house is relaxed and quiet. We enjoyed fresh Kerala breakfast and Joseph offered fresh tea and coffee, even to our friends who came over for a visit. The room was big enough and we found everything we needed. Filtered drinking water was also available.

What a wonderful home and place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated in a heritage style, the bed was really comfortable and it was overall extremely clean. The bathroom was basic but very clean and got the job done. The location is great too, a short walk from the sites of the biennale and cute cafés and restaurants. The hosts are absolutely lovely and very helpful - they made sure we were comfortable our late night train journey. Thank you and can’t wait to be back.

We had such a lovely stay at the Fort Bungalow. Despite a very last second booking, Joseph and Neethu welcomed us warmly. The hotel is a beautiful heritage building, set around a lush green courtyard. Handmade furniture, interesting artwork, and trinkets the owners have collected, decorate the space. The bed was super comfy, and shower was hot. We look forward to our next stay!
