OYO 13221 Calicut Inn

This property is a shame for 'OYO' which is mostly helpful for cost conscious travellers, to get boarding of reasonable comfort and convenience. They demanded extra payment after making full payment through oyo. The fact that payment was demanded at the time of checkout, when you have time constraints to even try to resolve it makes it all the more condemnable. The attitude of the staff and management was unbecoming for a hospitality business. They refused to give receipt for the amount paid and were single minded to be rude. When you call up later to request for receipt, they hang up the phone with a murmured curse. Located on MM Ali road adjacent to Hotel Alakapuri. The hotel has limited parking space and rooms are cramped. Menu is very limited since they don't have a restaurant attached. On the whole a horrible experience one would like to forget.

Ok kind hotel, only deluxe rooms are good to stay, Classic rooms are not at all spacious to spend a single night. Service is too slow, water supply issue in washroom. Same menu repeated in breakfast

Me and my colleague stayed for two days, we gave the keys at the reception whilenl going out, informing them to clean the room, but to our surprise while returing back the room was in the same condition. We were exhausted and we had to call up 3 times in the reception wating for half an hour for the cleaning staff to arrive. It was very pathetic condition, due to smell we had to near for half an hour

Entrance and parking is too small but room was really nice. Some random Hindi speaking guy picked my call to the restaurant, other than that good place.

Reached late night 1 am. Just wanted room till morning. I had booked online. Though I was going to stay just part of the day. They wanted me to pay 400 INR above the 1650 already paid for. They had room available. Had to book another room at that time. Staff wasn't very helpful either.

Simply loved it. Staff is really good. Rooms give u luxurious feeling. Breakfast is complimentary. What else u want at just 1300rs.

Budget Hotel with good amenities. Near to Calicut Railway Station. Rooms are clean, breakfast seems okay.(as per price they are charging). Staff is also very cooperative

Good to stay near Palayam market. Near to reach bus stand and catch trains also. Good hospitality mentality. Breakfast available with in 8.00am . Good quality rooms.
