Hyson Heritage

I have been a regular visitor to Hyson Heritage for some time now, primarily due to its convenient location and decent breakfast options. However, I must say that the overall maintenance of the property has noticeably gone downhill in recent visits. One concerning issue is the hygiene standards. There was a noticeable cockroach smell in certain areas, which was quite off-putting. The property really needs to improve its cleanliness and upkeep to match its earlier standards. I sincerely hope the management takes these issues seriously and works on restoring the quality.

It's a good stay, kinda 4 star Hotel, they have ample of parking, location situated nearby beach 2km, They have restaurent inside, food taste also good. Rooms are clean , service also great . It's better if they provide more plug points for charging. I feel it's bit pricy but it's worth for the experience.

The location of the hotel is just perfect, right at the heart of Calicut, so it helps in moving around the city and its places of interest. The room was well-spaced, clean, and nicely decorated, so one could get the best blend of comfort and luxury. The bed was very comfortable with good quality amenities so that one can get fully relaxed during the stay.||The highlight of my stay was the dining. There is a delicious menu, featuring local taste and international cuisine. Each meal was a delight to the taste buds, well-prepared with fresh ingredients and appealingly presented. Their buffet breakfast was simply outstanding, with great variety to suit all tastes.

The buffet lunch was excellent. Plenty of items to select from. We are here for more than 5 times always and prefer to have buffet . Thank u for considering the feedback for more items and u have done it perfectly . Excellent hospitality and love to have the food in such a peaceful ambience

Stayed with my family recently. Rooms was very good. Kept neat and clean. Bathroom well maintained. The staff are very helpful and courteous. Had breakfast from there which was superb. Lot of hotels around if not having lunch and dinner from there. Beach is around 1.5Km from the hyson. Parking is very spacious. Overall a good experience.

I stayed for 2 days. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. One thing missing was a clock. With all the amenities provided it wud be good if they hang a clock in the room. A bit on the pricey side but taking in to consideration the breakfast provided it is fine.

My stay at Hyson Heritage on November 1st was generally pleasant. The hotel offers ample parking and the restaurant provides satisfactory service. A special mention goes to Joseph, who was exceptionally helpful and attentive.

Stayed at this hotel on the last week of September 2023. Reserved a deluxe AC room for Rs 5,103. Room is spacious, all furnitures and cupboard looks atleast 40 years old. Has complimentary breakfast, it was very good. I got room on the 6th floor the highest. AC is central and it wasn't doing its job. I called the reception and maintenance person changed the filter. It didn't help. They moved us to 5th floor due to excessive heat and AC not working well. This didn't help in the new room. They keep repeating to me "AC is in 3, the maximum". The building seem bit old and run down. Guests don't get a remote control to set the desired temperature. All this for a room costing Rs 5,103 per night!! I spoke to the manager, I informed I will be not paying full amount because the AC isn't working well. The small stream of air coming from the AC vent is a joke. They upgraded me to suite which had perfectly running AC. I appreciate that they resolved the issue but any one paying Rs.5,103 per night deserves a good room with an AC able to set desired temperature. Had to change room twice! By midnight the issue was resolved. I appreciate manager's generosity.
