I recently dined at Saravana Hotel near the new bus stand in Calicut and was quite disappointed. The meal cost 70 rupees and included only four side dishes, pappadam, curd, and one curry (sambaar). The food quality was average, and the price felt steep, especially with additional charges for 'ponni' rice and 'payasam'. Overall, the meal was not worth the money and left me unsatisfied.

Too many cockroaches, they were like come get up let's speak. They are everywhere. No TV no Wifi.. Don't expect anything. The front desk team is arrogant since they are aged guys.. They in their own world. Per day it's 1456/ not worth at all. Find a better place.

Overall clean and good rooms, but the parking spot is approximately 300 meters away from the hotel. There are arrangements made by the hotel to shuttle guests between the parking spot and the hotel. Its location near to the bus station makes it a better option for bus commuters.

Had Paneer Tikka yesterday, maybe the paneer was kept in freeze and they just marinated it and roasted it and served it, but it was cold from inside.
