While Span Hotel has the potential to be a leading choice in Calicut due to its strategic location and decent facilities, the lack of attentiveness and courteous behavior at the reception is a significant drawback. A change in staff training and customer interaction policies could greatly enhance the guest experience. That was very bad experience

Booked a ac room online. when reached hotel, they offered non ac as the price I paid online through agoda is less. To upgrade they asked an additional 500 and the condition of the ac room was pathetic. Considering it as a 3 star hotel. I would not suggest anybody to stay here(just my personal opinion). The management needs to properly manage things.

An average place to with rates within reasonable limits. Rooms are quite old but maintained. Many bathroom fittings needs replacement.

This is a classic example how a very good property can be dumped due to poor service. I stayed in the hotel four years back couple of times and with that experience I booked the hotel last week, through Agoda and the experience was so pathetic the entire property was in very poor condition THE BEHAVIOUR OF THE STAFF WAS VERY RUD AS I CHECKED IN AT NIGHT, NO RESTAYRANT SERVICE THE ROOMS WERE NOT EVEN CLEANED SEEING THIS I ASKED FOR AN UOGRADE TO DECENT ROOM ON PAYING AT THE HOTEL AND THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF WERE SAYING THERE IS NO OPTION FOR UPGRADE SINNCE YOU HAVE BOOKED THROUGH A SITE IF RQUIRED YOU NEED TO BOOK AGIN THROUGH THE COUNTER . Later I realized that the property was entirely in the morning without any guests whereas four years back the property was crowded with booking. Agin this is classic example how a business can be destroyed by useless and untrained manpower. Pradeep KT

Booked this hotel through Ixigo.. Feels bad,. Located infront of District Jail. 1.Good Employees (Reception & Housekeeping) 2.Bad Rooms 3.Can't sleep coz of Mosquitos 4.stained or expired towels 5. Useless Restaurant employees, wait more than 10 mins in the restaurant to see a waiter.. No menu in the restaurant. . . . . . . Many more..... So no more pics and comments 🫣
