OMKAAR TOURIST HOME

I had a disappointing overnight stay at this lodge with my elderly parents. I booked a non-AC room for one night, for which they charged 1300 rupees. Unfortunately, there was no hot water, no sheets to cover, and no drinking water provided. The receptionist informed me that sheets were only available in AC rooms and that there was no hot water in the entire lodge, including the AC rooms. By night, the room became infested with various types of insects. We managed to stay until morning and then relocated to another lodge. It seems the lodge caters primarily to unmarried couples or singles seeking short stays.This is definitely not recommended for families.
