Bonfire Homestay, Thekkady

Its a pleasant and peaceful homestay away from the main city of thekkady. Extremely amiable hospitality was provided by the hosts. One of them came down all the way to the main road to guide us till the homestay. It's the perfect place for anyone who wants to get away from the noises of the city or the ringing of the mobiles ;-) All you can hear are the birds chirping all day long and its accompanied with the well-grown plants and their flowers in the homestay.

Stayed there with my family for 2 nights. Had a good time. The Homestay is easily accessible and the staff there, especially the team  is very helpful and courteous. They guided me through all the things to do and visit around Thekkady. I didnt had to take any tension from the moment i left to thekkady .

Stayed for two nights... Felt it's not enough though. Rooms were clean and big , amenities at par with a star hotel . The first night it rained heavily and all we did was watch the lightning from our room windows ... The view was jus splendid. The boys even managed to put away their gadgets and PLAY here for real . One more thing was we did not watch TV .And the campfire after the rain was just amazing.

Nice Homestay. Nice auto driver who took us there. Auto drive lives in front of Homestay so he took us everywhere where we told him. Nice garden maintained. Jackfruit plant, coffee garden and Cardamom plant are there.

To begin with the property is very easy to locate, just off the kumily bus stand , i.e. accessibility is good. The rooms are well appointed, very clean and well maintained. And campfire in the night is the highlight .
