Achayan's Homestay Mararikulam

We had a very nice stay with Jimmy, Greeta and Emiel. We felt very welcome, the family is just so friendly and is there to help you. Greeta is a good cook; she make delicious breakfast and big portions, we enjoyed that very much. The room is very clean. The beach is within walking distance and the most beautiful beach we have seen so far in India. When we are in Alleppey again we will definitely come back!

Knowing we are from Hyderabad, the house owner surprised us with delicious sambar, which was a delightful touch! They also catered to our specific food preferences, making our dinner feel homemade and full of love. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stay. A lovely homestay run by a very welcoming couple and their son. The room was comfortable (a/c worked well, thankfully), dinner and breakfast were delicious. The area is also convenient, close to Marari beach and not too far from the houseboats in Alleppey.|Highly recommended!

I was one night at Achayans Homestay and found the most welcoming host family. They are very kind and helped me with everything. The room was spacious and clean with aircon and hot water. Their son Emil even came with me to the train station to make sure that I find the right train :-)

We were hosted by a very charming and hospitable family. We stayed one night, the room was simple with large comfortable beds and A/C. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. Would recommend!

We felt at home from the beginning, they were so welcoming, kind and helped us in any situation.|Greta cooked for us every evening, such delicious food!|The homestay also has a really nice location; near to a very beautiful beach and also near to the city aleppuzha.|The room was really nice; ac and very clean!|Also it was really helpful that they organized a transport from the airport for us.|Thank you so much, and hope to see you all soon!

A very peaceful and relaxing place to stay in a village-like environment. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive to our needs. The rooms are clean in general however, we found a few bugs and insects inside our rooms and bathroom. Proper sanitization and dis infection should be taken care of

This is a lovely, laid-back place, round the corner from the beach. It's easygoing and low maintenance, and you need to be comfortable with basic facilities.||That said, the host family is kind and helpful, and the home cooked food is great.||What's not to love.
