Chandana Annexe

The hotel is under construction. Hence some how they have managed to have few rooms fully operational. Grossly understaffed. No restaurants. Breakfast you are compelled to eat spicy idli, dosa and sambar. Rooms have only fan. Noon time extremely hot. Property is under Oyo but they dont give complementary tea or coffee, one have to cross road to eat coffee. The same owner has a Cinema Hall right the wall of the hotel, one can enjoy the Dolby sounds of local movies. Location is average. No good restaurants nearby .

Don't go there. Bad place. Staff is arrogant. Both oyo and hotel cheated us. First booked 5rooms but
cancelled the first booking due no need of 5 rooms. But cancelled the whole booking by mistake. After that they instructrd us to rebook the same through oyo and the bill to be paid at hotel. We will get the refund of first booking once we checked out from the hotel. Since there was no internet we couldn't inform oyo regarding our check in. But hotel staff informed us they will inform oyo regarding our check-in but after we were in network coverage we got the information that we have cancelled the booking. We lost our money from oyo and hotel. Very bad experience.

Worst behaviour of staff they are asking extra charges for cleaning room. Hotel is not easily reachable there are too many chandana hotels it took me 1hr to reach the hotel. I'm getting weird noises at morning time something like a siren suddenly the staff came knocking the door at 9am and asking when I'm going to leave my check out time was 11am then why they are forcing us to check out by 9am. I said why I want to pay extra charges for cleaning he was rude at me and said If u don't like the room u should have left yesterday. Why I want to leave the room for what I have paid. Worst hotel I found in OYO not recommended for anyone even for bachelor guys bcoz it will be noisy and you will loose the privacy completely. Strictly not for families.

Everything is fine except few things. 1. only Vodafone and BSNL 2g network will work. 2. it is in marayoor , which isl 40 km far from Munnar city and it will take 1 hr 20 mins at least to reach the place, so everyone has to manage time accordingly. 3. Breakfast taste was very good, but it was same for two consecutive days.

Worst Hotel - Don’t go for this. Map Location Wrong., And not even Local people don’t know where it is... We roam around 40min to find this in location. Unfortunately We stay here for 2 Days, we are the only guests in Hotel for that 2 Nights. Only 80yrs old man take cares the property he is watchmen, care taker, room boy, housekeeping, Receptionist & everything. They served breakfast from other Road site Hotel (only idly). For Lunch and dinner the gave another Hotel address. We booked rooms for Rs.1500/- before 20days. Hotel tariff found only 500-900 per night

I had stayed for one day actually it was two days we sacrificed one days rent. No tea or coffee or even water. Staff was arrogant. ( He said carry your own luggage. This not railway platform to get a porter). Why people suggest this for stay in MUNNAR. as it is 45 km away and took almost 2 hour from Munnar. Better to stay in jungle than in this Hotel. Sorry I cannot give MINUS rating

Highly priced but low quality.. Room service is poor..rooms not as mentioned in pics..geyser is not there but mentioned on site..WiFi is dead slow..in food no varieties & quality also average. Overall bad experience..not upto oyo standards we expect..will advise others to look for other better options available

Worst experiece. Although room was big and spacious but hospitality, location and service was poor. Food was unavailable. Breakfast was horrible. They only provided tea with this horrible breakfast that too was terrible. Not recemonded!!
