White House Residency - Hotel in Chithirapuram

Rooms are pretty good and spacious with a beautiful valley view. Bathroom was also neat and clean. Staffs are humble and helpful. Special mentions for the owner, we had some issue with our food order but she cooperated very well and understood our point also. Swimming pool view is so amazing, great place for your stay.

Nice stay. The chef helped us cook special meals for our son. Given the rates, I consider the food an way below expectations, especially the breakfast.

The White House was the worst experience I have ever had in Munnar. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here, they just ruined my Munnar trip. At the time of booking I asked them exactly what the weather is like here and they said it's the same as Munnar, but when I went there, there is no such climate there. The truth is that there is nothing like the cash they are raising there. You can just come and stay, there is nothing here, in fact it is like a flat. There is nothing like what is said in their advertisement here. Moreover, the power always goes out. If those who come to enjoy life in Munnar come here and stay here, definitely will hate Munnar.

I stayed at this hotel last week and was impressed by the hospitality by the hosts Leena and Vinod . They made sure our stay was pleasant. Quality of food was excellent and service provided by all the staff was great !! Would like to thank all the people who served us Naveen , Praveen, Kushal , Akhil ,Prem and Hafiza. Hope I have not missed on any names . Would like to visit this place again .

Really surprised with the lack of reviews as this place was perfect for the price! Though a tuktuk or transport is needed, the rooms were nice and food was homemade and authentic to the keralan cuisine, the hotel manager was very helpful when organising what to do in the local area, and even arranged a local tuktuk driver who knew the area very well. Finally as it's quite high, the view here is great, and lovely pastel colours coat the skyline at sunrise. This place is definitely worth a go!

We went here for our meals in Munnar. Amazing hospitality. Super clean. Staff was humble. Everything we ordered from their menu was delicious. Loved it.

Poor service. Not recommended. Less staff which is rude. No amenities. Located in a far off place with poor connection and roads.. No wifi, no laundry service...

Road 🛣️ leading to this resort from Anachal town is 45 degrees inclined and it's very risky. Please take care if you are going by car 🚗. I suggest to hire a 4x4 jeep
