Amala Hotel and Restaurant

The person who handles reception in the evening ( Senior person - not the young guy who sits in the morning) is not fit for that job. While check in, I asked him to give me the best room and he became angry saying I should not ask like that..as they don't have any Bad rooms there.. I wanted to make him clear that I need a Deluxe room with more space but he was not ready to listen to me. Since it was too late and I was not very familiar to that town I checked in.

Hotel room was neat and clean. The staff are cordial and efficient. I wish they had a restaurant also

Rude behaviour from front office staff. The restaurant owner has replied that I had violated the hotel rules. Does the hotel rules say that a visitor who comes to visit a guest during daytime will be denied access to the guest and that the guest has to come down to the lobby to talk to him? Is it a prison to form such regulations? And will it be a pathetic behaviour if the action of the staff is questioned? I have stayed in many five star hotels in various hotels across India and nowhere I have seen such negative approach.

One of the best hotel in Pathanamthitta. The rooms are super and very nice. The staffs and their service is also very nice. It is just opposite of the Pathanamthitta ksrtc stand.

Just ok hotel. Don't expect more. Rooms neat and clean... Food is not ok.
