Flamingo Inn

I stayed at the Flamingo Hotel for 3 nights recently, and unfortunately, my experience didn’t meet the expectations of a 4-star property. The room had little to no soundproofing. Conversations, TV noise from adjacent rooms, and the loud banging of doors during room service deliveries echoed through the halls, which was quite disruptive, especially in the evenings. From a service perspective, there were several shortcomings. I booked an executive double room, but the amenities provided seemed intended for just one person—only one coffee cup, one glass, a single toothbrush, and barely any toilet paper left in the roll. Additionally, the hotel advertises an ironing board as available upon request, but when I asked, I was told they don’t have one. Despite activating the room service request button, there was no response, and tea bags, mineral water, and toiletries were not replenished during my stay. For the price and rating, I expected better attention to detail and service standards.

We had one of our company team outings here. They provided us with a hall, a room, speaker system and food (dinner). The food was especially mind blowing! We had an impromptu DJ as well. Overall it was a nice experience and we had a good time. This was in 2022 and the hotel was quite new back then. (They should control their support staff from interfering in the business of the guests though).

Pros - proximity to highway, lulu mall and few beaches. Clean rooms and sheets. Decent staff. Cons - Parking not very convenient. Doesn't feel like a 4star hotel tbh. The geizer was not working. Upon asking once again, they informed that there was an issue and it'll be fixed next morning. Shampoo and shower gel seems to have the same liquid. Loud dj at the top floor.

The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The road access was a little tricky. The room just slightly cramped. Overall, a great stay. Great service in the dining room, as well.

Accessibility is easier from town. Breakfast will get 70 marks only. Not that tasty and fruitful. Housekeeping was good

This 'happening water hole' inl is a must visit for those who would like to have good food, good drinks in great ambience. I've been there a couple of times, the ambience is good and the service is great. My only disconnect was on my last visit, where I felt the Long Island Ice Tea was off, I checked with the Bar and the Manager and I got conflicting response on the mix. For sure the Triple Sec was missing (the mixologist admitted it), for those who know, they know. Otherwise, it's a place where you must try out and take it from there if it's a fling or a marriage!

Very bad experience. Very bad business strategies using to get additional 150 rupees from costomer, i never used any towels, I used my own towel, while vacating staffs asking to pay additional 150 to wash towels, because it's having stain, and I asked to check with in room, they are disagreed and showed me an old towel, don't choose this anyone in your life, worst and very very bad, 100's of customers posted the same review, only because of there good service 🤬,so keep up the good work, and try to drink customers blood🤬🤬🤬🤬

It's my 3rd visit there..customer care was so good...no words for food it was excellent..their special choora perattu, prawn masala, chicken tikka, fish finger..go for it...
