I had a very pleasant and a never-to-forget stay at the property. Kudos to the General Manager Mr SS Rana ji and Operations Manager Mr Ankush GS ji for nurturing such an efficient team of staffers. |I got an early check-in and also an upgrade. |Shree lakshmi and Anthony at the reception counter were very helpful. ||Hotel is centrally located. Varnam and Pankayam restaurants are very close by- 10 minutes walking distance. Varnam serves a variety of dishes including local Kerala food at very reasonable price. ||Rooms are well lit and well furnished. Housekeeping is very good. ||Breakfast: Thanks to Mr Ashwin Raj, and Chef Mr Amar Nath Singh we could try different Nadan (Local kerala) food - Appam, Idiyappam, with Kozhi (chicken) or meen (fish) curries, and also learn what to eat with what. Different types of dosas- ghee dosa, podi dosa, mysore dosa, masala dosa and what not. Very polite, caring and ever obliging staff. Special mention of Abhimanue, Alex, Pooja, Ritoma, Shisha and Vysakh (names in alphabetical order- apologies if I have spelt any name wrongly). ||Thanks once again to Rana ji, Ankush ji and their team.

The hotel is situated in a peaceful yet central location, offering the perfect balance between tranquility and convenience. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, exceptionally spacious, and feature a modern aesthetic that enhances comfort and luxury. The staff are remarkably attentive, ensuring that every aspect of the guest experience—from the moment you step through the doors to the final checkout—is seamless, enjoyable, and stress-free. I stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed every single day. However, the only minor downside was the quality of the breakfast items, which could use some improvement. This feedback is more directed toward the kitchen team, as there’s room to elevate the dishes served both at breakfast and in the hotel’s restaurant. Additionally, while the menu items are priced on the higher side, they might not always feel justified given the variety of excellent dining options available just steps outside the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay. The special thing was the food prepared by Amar Nath Singh and team. With special mention for Laimwn, Alex, Pooja for the hospitality and excellent service with in Mynt and Konkan Cafe restaurants.||Areas of improvement- please provide smart wifi enabled TV in the room which can remove the hassle to connect with additional casting steps to go through. No details provided in the room how to cast mobile device with TV and we could not connect our device with the TV in the room during our 3 nights stay at Vivanta Thiruvananthpuram.

Really nice room and hotel. Breakfast was great. Rooftop infinity pool very enjoyable as well. Would recommend this hotel as it is convenient to many sights and we felt very safe here. The front desk staff was excellent and were able to recommend local sights and how to get around by Uber tuk tuk.

Kudos to chef Amar from here. Absolutely ensured our stay was good. Very wonderful and warm person. Steward Alex was very helpful as well. Clean place...Clean everything. Love love love everything.

It sounds like you enjoyed your stay at the hotel but noticed a few areas where it could improve. While you appreciated the neatness of the pool, good service from the restaurant and reception staff, and the professionalism of the security team, you felt the bar entrance and lift landing area lacked the same sophistication as other Taj Vivanta properties. The contemporary style and lighting ambiance didn’t quite meet your expectations, and the lift design felt below standard. However, the wide variety in the buffet breakfast and the friendly service left a positive impression overall.

It's always a pleasure to come back to this hotel. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean and well kept. Housekeeping is very efficient. Vishnu in housekeeping was very prompt and efficient. The hotel is highly recommended if you want to stay in the city

The stay was nice. Housekeeping staff were very friendly & helpful.|Staff at the reception were also very helpful.|Food quality at the breakfast needs improvement. Watermelon juice was very diluted. Some of the dishes ordered for dinner were tasteless.
