OYO Pop Tavern Heritage

I had booked this place on April 10th, for a week stay from May 12th through Oyo with id #utby9235. Repeatedly oyo had confirmed my reservation through WhatsApp till the day of my reservation. I had tried to call oyo on the day of my reservation, but they were not reachable. After 13 hours of my bus journey from chennai i reached this place with my wife & children at 12:30 pm and I received call from the hotel that the rooms are not available!! I tried to tell her that I am already at the location but she informed it was not her problem and ask oyo to accommodate us in a different hotel, even the guy at the place ignored me when I tried to talk to him, later he said we should have booked with them directly instead of going through oyo! We had to travel another 15 kms to accommodate us at a different hotel. This time I made sure to not through oyo! They reimbursed me partial amount, not sure what was the deduction for, I am just glad I was able to find a better place on my own!

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH OYO SUPPORT AND PROPERTY MANAGER. I have booked the pop Tavern Heritage hotel for 3 nights. The booking id was APW82044. First of all the direction to the property was incorrect. When called the oyo support, they gave the property managers number. Upon calling them, they said that there is no booking with the above mentioned booking id and refused to host us. They asked to call the oyo support and fix it. I started calling the oyo support from 9:30 pm till 12:30 am. Everytime the support executive will put me on hold and never returns and eventually after 10 to 15 minutes, the call gets disconnected. I have called the support for more than 20 times with same response. This was the worst experience with the oyo customer service. Inspite of asking several times to conference with the property manager, the support puts on hold and call gets disconnected. I had to explain the issue over and over again with each support executive. FRUSTRATION TO THE CORE. I don't understand why they won't make the notes and update the database for easy access... BIG TIME IMPROVEMENT REQUIRED FOR OYO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. After 12:30am, I gave up and then called in to cancel the booking, again the cycle of putting me on hold repeated more than 10 times. More than the property, the frustration is with the oyo customer support. Finally, the next morning a gentleman who values customer support was able to help cancel the booking. I am still waiting for the refund.

The first impression of the property is great .. you fall in love with the architecture and cosyness of it .. swimming pool is the only thing I loved .. the facilities you get and the amount you pay is unmatchable. It’s a home stay so we except kitchen to have basic things which are not . They show that you have breakfast on the house which is pathetic.. there is no breakfast.: No room cleaning services.. Help is not always available sometimes it’s out of the place or drunk.. No tissues in bathrooms.. no electric kettle to boil a water .. no tea bags .. no good hot water bath .. it’s a home stay with clean rooms without any amenities.. not worth for money

OYO guys took money gave me the link to pay. When we are at the property the owner says you need COVID REPORT. We said OYO didn’t say anything regarding that. And they also didn’t took any charge they said we will cancel it and sorry for this. I am here with luggage and my family it’s just not done.
