Dostyk Hotel

Hot water was not available in the room. We were informed by the staff on duty that hot water is generated by solar water heaters and due to cloudy conditions (it was in November) sufficient hot water is not generated and therefore some rooms get hot water and some don't. To add insult to injury, the staff member at the reception counter had a take it or leave it attitude.

We stayed here for 2nights in March 2018. Positives: Clean and spacious room with massive windows. Our room was on the 6th floor at the back of the hotel and had lovely views of palm trees that seemed to span miles and the beautiful sunset. We had two rooms- a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a private kitchen/slash dining area just next door.|Negatives: No fan or other adequate ventilation in the bathroom (there needs to be more than just a window because the air does not move in Kerala!). Having a kitchenette is totally pointless! They provide NOTHING in it. Not even a kettle! There is a temple on the same street that was playing music all night and since the windows are very thin we hardly slept at all. Buffet breakfast was cold every morning and the guy working there had a right grump on him. I was told that they couldn't make a boiled egg. It took them nearly an hour to give us some hot drinking water. Overall this place just lacked a soul. Give me a comfy little homestay any day!

Good place to stay. Situated in a prime location. Preferred for both family and business. Two things to get cleared. Bathroom flushes and cold served breakfast. The parking is congested and you should be good driver to park between the pillers. I will opt this hotel again for stay. I have stayed there for three days. Ample space in the room is the major advantage.

This Oyo property Silvery key executive stays, is Tayas Dostyk hotel, but marketed as Hussains hospitality pvt Ltd. First of all, oyo should remove the wifi available from the listing, if asked for wifi they will say wifi is available only at the lobby and that too is worse than a dialup connection. AC was not cooling(I had to use ceiling fan to prevent me from sweating during night) and was very noisy, even oyo didn't reply to a written complaint and not even the hotel staff, they said a technician is coming, but no one came even after repeated complaints for two days. Door hinge was damaged and not closing properly. Toilet is not flushing properly. If these issues were resolved, I would have given a 4 star rating. The photos in oyo are from some other hotel

Would definitely not recommend Inconvenient entrance via basement Each apartment is big and spacious. ACs work perfectly. The attached bathroom had lots of cockroaches. Sheets did not feel clean, had hair on the pillows. Security is minimal, especially for your car. And the night security created a lot of problems, esp with coming in late. The lift was disabled and it took a long time for the issue to get sorted and for us to reach our room.

Cannot belive how they can offer us these rooms for that price! Excellent rooms. Service apartments also available. Book only via OYO. Then if not satisfied, you can upgrade for a mere 300 rupees.

Very helpful and cooperative staff... Rooms were clean... They even allowed us to stay in their rooms after check out for 2 hrs.... Will definitely recommend if you are checking hotels near Medical College Ullore, Trivandrum.

Picture shown in Oyo and room was entirely diffrent not clean and maintained And the changes is also high Only good thing I found is their food is good Air-condition is not workingproperly
