Malavikas Black Beach Resort

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. The rooms were extremely dirty, with visible dust and black stains on the bedsheets and pillows. The bathrooms were poorly maintained and emitted a foul smell. None of the staff responded to any complaints, and there was no room service or kitchenette available. Additionally, hot water was not provided, and during the night, only a security guard was present. They didn’t even provide basic amenities like drinking water in the room. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel

We stayed at this hotel for five days, and while the guards were helpful and friendly, the manager's behavior was appalling. He was rude and discriminatory, harassing us simply because we were not Malyali. Despite paying the amount he demanded for a late check-out, the manager continued to mistreat us. He aggressively knocked on our door and demanded we leave the room immediately, displaying unprofessionalism and cruelty. Additionally, there was no room service and no water provided during our stay. I strongly advise against staying here, especially for Northerners, as it is not a safe or welcoming environment. Manager should take training for his behaviour.

We had a wonderful stay at Malavikas Black Beach Resort! The hospitality was excellent, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. A special thanks to Sujeesh for arranging a seamless stay and an amazing one-day sightseeing tour. The one day sightseeing tour included Jatayu sculpture visit, Kaveri Elephant park, Mangrove forest (boating) and Kapil beach.. We also had a complementary breakfast as we booked via Make my trip app...and i must say the food was amazingly yummy. The resort's ambiance was serene, and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We also want to appreciate Dileep who drove us to all the places and appreciate all the efforts for his guidance and for taking us to all the must-visit places in Varkala. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would love to visit again on our next trip to Varkala. Highly recommended! Thank you Black beach resort team!

Really disappointed with the room amenities and staff service. Had to ask for towels, bath mats and drinking water. When asked, they said they can have a look and can give if available!! No chair in the room! Kitchenette provided was not adequate at all. Only happy with just the location, they could update their amenities and facilities online appropriately so people don't get disappointed.

The room is ok but service is very poor. No one is available for service its just you have to come down and call the guard for even if you need water bottle. The food is also not available at room you have to walk and go to their tie-up restaurant. In the room even floor mats are not available. Dont prefer this resort you will regret.

Had great experience with malavikas hotel, friendly understanding staffs, we had 2days stay . Rooms are also fine reasonable. 2min distance from varkala and odyam beach

Very bed experience about services like . No hot water. No towel and bed sheet given. No person available at reception. Only security gaurd handle at night shift .
