A very welcoming host! We went for a three days trip to Varkala and stayed in this place. Place is quiet, calm, peaceful and near to Odayam and Black sand beach. And got help for arranging rental bike and auto pick and drop to Railway Station..Overall the stay was very satisfying.

We had a very pleasant stay at the accomodation with a view of the ocean from the balcony. Our room was basic, but very clean. The host was very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. He organised a scooter for a really good price, was always available for questions and also had a really good collection of books to read.

If one searches a place just simply for relaxing with super friendly and supporting hosts in an quiet environment with very relaxed, mostly German, mostly older and longterm India attached guests - here is the right place. Rooms are simple, clean, no AC. The rooftop restaurant is also recommendable, the service team always extremely helpful and friendly. If you have been here once you get addicted and have to return or extend your stay again and again... Thank You Haksar and Sabrina!

I had really good time here. This is second time I am staying in this property. Suitable for budget stays. Beach is walkable distance. Very tasty food. Staffs are very kind and friendly . Mr. Haksar(owner) is very kind person. Clean and calm place.

We loved our stay in this little hotel! It has such a relaxing atmosphere 😍 We paid 1500 INR for the basic room, which is the minimum you will have to pay for a hotel in Varkala, as the prices for accommodation in Varkala are quite high. But the basic room had everything you need, it was clean, a fan, a small terrace, the vicinity to the beach and most importantly the restaurant where you can have some home-cooked meal! It takes some time so be served because they prepare everything fresh! We loved the tulasi tea, masala tea, lassis, and paneer butter masala. The restaurant is on the top floor, so you also get nice views while dining. Would definitely come back here. They also have fancier rooms on the upper level for 1800 and 2000INR but we didn’t see them.

Its a calm place to stay. Feels like home and is just a few meters away from the sea shore. Varkala cliff is at walking distance. The owner Mr. Haksar is a really nice person. He will be available 24*7 upon a phone call. Really neat and Safe place to stay for girls' trips. Rooms are basic. Bathing soap and Towel will be provided. Everything else are expected to be brought by the gusts. The rate is very reasonable and its worth for the money paid.Me and my friends had a really good time staying there!
